A widower who realized his only connection to his family was through his wife sets off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children.
Feel good movie for the holidays. Sounds like it's going to be a joyful tear jerker.

Drew Barrymore Spotted Arriving At LAX

Actress Drew Barrymore was spotted boarding a flight at LAX yesterday afternoon. Drew rocked a pair of red shades and an olive green dress while carrying a copy of "The Week" magazine.
Drew is currently traveling the world to promote her new film, 'Whip It'. I haven't seen it yet but all the buzz I'm hearing about it is positive. Can't wait to check it out.

Drew Barrymore Says There's Nothing Hotter Than A Girl Fight

While Drew Barrymore was rehearsing a scene for 'Whip It' she bruised her entire thigh. But this actress isn't complaining. In fact, she calls it her "merit badge". LOL! Here she is talking about when she trained with real-life Detroit Derby Girls star Racer McChasHer.
"We were wrestling and rolling around on the track, and both of us feel one of our skates and both our body weights on my thigh. I had a bruise that was a foot long and a foot wide. My entire leg was covered."
"That's a merit badge. That's cool. I don't think there's anything hotter or more fun to do than a girl fight."
I'm sure plenty of men would agree!
Drew Barrymore Talks About Where She's At In Her Life

Drew Barrymore really opened up to Parade! She talked about a wide range of topic, including what's important to her personally, staying sober, and taking charge of her professional life.
What has she learned about life's ups and downs?
"I've stopped believing in happy endings. I've started believing in good days. At the end of my movie, there's honesty. There's truth. There's peace. What tomorrow will bring is still in question. There is a joy that's earned by failure or triumph. All those things add up to teach us, if we are open to it."
Dealing with long-term sobriety:
"No, I'm not [completely sober]. And I don't claim to be — quite the opposite. I've tried to find the balance. I hope it's balanced."

Drew Barrymore Still Has Mother Issues

I really admire Drew Barrymore for how far she's come; I remember when she was the adorable kid on 'E.T.' and then her trips to rehab when she was barely a teenager! Now she's a successful movie actress and producer, but she admitted to InStyle that she still has "mother issues."
"I am okay with my dad, but my mom and I have yet to work it out," Barrymore, 34, says of her mother, Jaid, in the October issue of InStyle, out Friday. "I don't talk about it because … how do you talk about something you're confused about?'
Although Drew may not have resolved her issues with her mother, she said she uses them for her work, such as for her role in 'Grey Gardens' and for her new movie, 'Whip It.' Drew also said she may use issues with another family member for a new role she is taking on, although she is occasionally ready to leave her Hollywood life behind.
"Maybe I'll just travel as a tourist and leave this whole business behind to wander," she says. "I love my life. I really do. But there are moments I battle with it. Some days I want nothing more than a brilliant mask so I could look like someone else and go wander the streets and be free. I'm very peeved Halloween only comes once a year."
I think we all have mother issues to some degree, but I can't imagine having them be so public! Yet she's done a great job overcoming a challenging adolescence, hasn't she?

Love It Or Hate It: Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore attended the 'Whip It' premiere held at the Ryerson Theatre - The 2009 Toronto Film Festival. She must be so excited considering she wore many hats during the making of this film. What do you think about the yellow and black lace dress she chose for the event? How about Drew's two-toned hair?
Quite a different look from her costar. Ellen Page kept things simple in a black sweetheart dress.

Drew Barrymore Promoting 'Whip It' In Toronto
Drew Barrymore made an appearance on Live @ eTalk at the CTV Building in Toronto, Canada to promote her new movie 'Whip It'. I love how fashionably open she is to different styles. One day we will see Drew in a sweet summer dress and the next she's wearing suspenders and mesh red gloves! You just can't beat that.
Who's up for seeing this movie? Is rollerblading a topic that interests you?
