Edward Norton Was The Fastest Celebrity In The NY Marathon
Edward Norton was the fastest celebrity in this weekend’s New York marathon.
The ‘Fight Club’ actor crossed the finish line in the 26 mile race in 3 hours, 48 minutes and 1 second, beating other celebrity runners including Alanis Morissette and ‘ER’ actor Anthony Edwards.
That is amazing time! My friend ran it and finished around the 5 hour mark.
Edward, 40, described his experience running the race as “phenomenal” and was pleased he had achieved his personal goal of beating former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s four hour marathon time.
Edward completed the run to raise money for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, which promotes conservation, education and health services in southern Kenya, and he had the opportunity to train with the warriors in Kenya ahead of the marathon.

Edward Norton Shares His Thoughts On Social Networking Sites
Add Edward Norton to the list of celebs who don't like social networking sites.
"I haven't personally really engaged in a lot of this new kind of social networking stuff like Twitter or Facebook or MySpace. I mean, the notion of people following what I am doing every day is like torture for me. It's absolutely the last thing that I'm looking for. It seems to me to be really just about social chatter."
Yep, that's the idea. But I can see where, if you're trying to protect your privacy, then joining a social networking site would very much defeat the purpose.
Yet Edward joined twitter anyway- for his favorite charity, the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust.
"It's a good example of a way that you can turn that platform into something where you actually can accomplish something good. It's my first attempt. We're putting our running training log on Twitter. You can see can see pictures too on the site there.
The trust conserves the wildlife and culture of the Maasai tribe of Kenya, Africa.”
That seems like a great way to use twitter.

Colin Farrell and Edward Norton both looked extremely handsome as they arrived to the premiere of their new movie, "Pride & Glory" at the AMC Lowe's Lincoln Cinemas in NYC last night. I find both of these men attractive and extremely talented which is why I can't choose a favorite, but perhaps you can.
