Stories about Elisabeth Hasselbeck

Elisabeth Hasselbeck & Eric Mabius At A Disney Event

Elisabeth Hasselbeck & Eric Mabius At A Disney Event

Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her daughter attended a Disney themed event for Toys-R-Us yesterday afternoon.  Eric Mabius from, "Ugly Betty" and his wife were also there and I must say Eric is one fine looking daddy. :)

So, what do you think of the rumors going around that Elisabeth will be leaving, "The View" to get her own show on Fox News? Do you think she has what it takes to pull in an audience doing it alone?

Celebs React To Elisabeth Hasselbeck's N-Word Comments

Celebs React To Elisabeth Hasselbeck's N-Word Comments

The discussion on The View got heated when Elisabeth Hasselbeck tried to say that neither an African American person nor a Caucasian person should use the n-word in any context. Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd said it was different for them. Now a few more celebrities are weighing in on this heavy topic.

Taye Diggs:

“(Hasselbeck) doesn’t understand, and, no offense — I don’t think any white person has the right to tell a black person or to even weigh in on subject matter such as that,” Diggs told “Access Hollywood” on Thursday. “They don’t know what it’s like to be called that word; they don’t know what it’s like to be black.

“They can have an opinion, but… don’t take a word that you created and called me for many, many years, and then me being in my position, have the strength to change what it means in my own culture,” he explained. “Don’t try to take it back now. Now it’s ours. Leave it alone.”

Scrubs star, Donald Faison:

“I don’t think Elisabeth Hasselbeck would ever have to worry being called the ‘N-word’ … For her to be offended by it, it’s kind of weird. African-Americans have used it now as a term of endearment, or how to describe a situation. So for her to say something like that, she has no idea what power it has over anyone.”

Elisabeth Hasselbeck & Her Daughter At A My Little Pony Tea Party

Is anyone else REALLY excited that all the toys they played with as a child are now back for their children to play with? I end up braiding and clipping My Little Pony's hair more than Natalie does. She's always like, "MOM! Let me see!"Elisabeth Hasselbeck, her daughter Grace, sister-in-law Sarah, and her nieces Annabelle & Mallory enjoyed a My Little Pony Tea Party at Madison Square Garden yesterday. You know it's not everyday you see a giant pink My Little Pony. I'm sure all the kids had a great time and were freaking out about the giant animal. With large characters like that it's either a hit or miss. I saw plenty of kids at Disney World scared for their lives.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck For Pregnancy Magazine

WOW! Has it been THAT long since I've watched The View? Last time I saw Elisabeth Hasselbeck she was barely showing. Check out that bump now! Here she is on the cover of Pregnancy Magazine with a few quotes from the interview below:---BEING A CONSERVATIVE MOTHER IN 2007: "Being a conservative mother isn't the challenge. Being a conservative in New York City on television is the challenge. Once I had [first daughter] Grace, I had more reassurance and affirmation as to why I have felt the things that I've felt for a long time. I want to make sure that the decisions I'm making and the votes that I'm casting are going to create long-term benefits for Grace and my next child and hopefully more to come after that."ABOUT BEING PREGNANT AND ARGUING WITH ROSIE O'DONNELL: "When a woman cries, it's never seen as a sign of strength and never seen in a positive light. A man cries and he's sensitive, and a woman cries and she's week. So even when you're debating another woman, the first person to cry pretty much loses."
