Nicolette Sheridan Talks About Who She Is- And Isn't- Dating
Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan sat down with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and dished about who she may or may not be dating and who she will not ever be dating (from the sound of it, at least).
So, is Nicollette dating comedian David Spade or not?
Ellen asked the obvious follow-up question: are they friends with benefits, then?
'Oh ... do you see us together?' [Nicollette] asks.
DeGeneres says yes, and Sheridan playfully replies, 'Really?' "
Hmmm... what do you think? Would you interpret that as a "yes" or a "no"?
Then Ellen asked Nicollette if she would date a guy I never would have thought of: American Idol's Ryan Seacrest. And Nicollette gave an answer that surprised me even more.
'That's gross,' she says. 'I've met him.' "
Now that's some honesty you don't typically hear in an interview! So what gives? Ryan may not be your cup of tea, but would you call him gross? Nicollette explains her dislike.

AWWW! How Sweet!
I am buying that shirt for my husband! Though... I think it doesn't have the same effect if I HAND it to him to wear as opposed to him buying it on his own. Sigh...
Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi were spotted out and about walking in Beverly Hills, California yesterday afternoon. Portia sported an "I Love My Wife" shirt and Ellen loved every minute of it. :)

Carmen Electra Spanks Ellen DeGeneres On Talk Show
Why can't I stop thinking about Portia de Rossi! LOL
If you are a fan of Ellen DeGeneres' morning talk show (and really - who isn't), you'd know that she always starts off each episode with some dancing. When Carmen Electra came out to help promote her current Playboy cover, the pair started to dance "together". I have Carmen's striptease workout videos, so I am familiar with her signature style although I can't replicate it even if my LIFE DEPENDED ON IT.
However, the pair had some fun and eventually Carmen spanked Ellen on her bottom which completed the segment. After the music stopped, Ellen sat down and said,
I don't like to start an interview until I'm spanked.
Well, who does? :)
Ellen DeGeneres Plays Matchmaker With Jim Carrey & Jenny McCarthy
Comedian/talk show host Ellen DeGeneres tried to give comedian Jenny McCarthy quite a Christmas present: a proposal from her boyfriend, star Jim Carrey! Jim was a guest on Ellen's talk show to promote his movie Yes Man when Ellen asked Jim if he had "popped the question yet."
Then she brought Jenny out and started a hard sale.
'You are such a great couple, and this is kind of putting you on the spot and kind of funny -- and maybe not,' she begins.
Then, looking at the couple she says, 'He says you say yes to
everything, and you'll have been together for three years, and we
thought that you should propose to her on the show.' "
Jenny had no complaints and did not disagree. Jim had a great response.
'Wow, hun, I love you so much, and I know we never planned on doing
this because we didn't feel like we needed a third party to tell us
that our relationship was sacred, but Jenny...' "
But Jim was saved by a doorbell. A doorbell rang, prompting Ellen to announce "Ellen's 12 Days of Giveaways."
During a Larry King appearance, Jim clarified that he and Jenny have no wedding plans.
As long as they're happy!

Ellen DeGeneres "Teaches" Britney Spears How To Sing
LOL! Love a girl with a sense of humor. Britney Spears made a guest appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show and did a little Christmas caroling. There one one slight problem - Britney "couldn't" keep a note. Lol!
I had to keep teaching her about harmony.
The pair went from house to house and visited several members of a nearby neighborhood. A lucky few even had Britney and Ellen help with the decorating of their trees! Can't wait to see the full skit.

Ellen DeGeneres Follows Brad Pitt's Advice
Last week, we discovered that one of our favorite people, talk show host / comedian Ellen DeGeneres, had a problem: she couldn't get movie star George Clooney to come on her talk show. Fellow movie star Brad Pitt gallantly told Ellen what she needed to do to get George to accept her invitation: send Chippendales dancers over with the invitation!
Ellen knew good advice when she heard it, so she has wasted no time in doing just that!

If this spectacular effort should somehow fail, I can only think of one main problem: where were the blondes? One guy looked like he had some blond highlights, but perhaps Ellen needed to specify that she wanted a platinum blonde?
Remember Brad's advice; it was pretty specific:
Get a bunch of Chippendales... He's yours. Three, four ... no less than three ... make one a blonde."
Well, no one can say Ellen hasn't tried everything to get George on her show!
Given what a practical joker George is rumored to be, I bet this gave him (or at least his office staff) a good laugh.

Ellen DeGeneres Talks Kids
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia di Rossi just got hitched so they aren't looking to make the jump from newlyweds to new parents just yet. But Ellen recently talked kids and said that babies are on the horizon for the power couple.
"When I see those print ads that have the babies in them for Gap, maybe
that's cute that you have a little Gap knit sweater on the head, little
Gap outfit. They advertise kids very well, those Gap ads. I don't even look at the
clothes -- I just go, 'That's a cute baby, I'll take that one.' "
In all seriousness though, Ellen talks about having to make the big decision.
"I think that is one of the things about not being able to just
accidentally get pregnant and have a child," she explains. "You really,
really have to want one, whether it's trying to figure out how you get
pregnant or if you adopt."
She adds,
"I think that's even more of a reason that people that aren't able to
have kids should be allowed to adopt because you have to really want a
kid, and that's a big responsibility," she says. "So we are not taking
it lightly. We would really think about it before we did it."
