I rarely drink so I really can't understand what the point of something so strong is. But Evan Rachel Wood says that she can't even stomach Marilyn Manson's brand of absinthe, Mansinthe, because it's way too potent for her.

"For my birthday, I did one shot to try it, and that was it. I was drunk immediately. Being who he is, Manson wanted to make it as strong as it could possibly be, so it's got the highest amount of wormwood that you can have legally. One shot of it, and you're out for the night. Three shots of it, you're dead."

That just doesn't sound like my idea of a good time, but to each his own. Mansinthe isn't available in the U.S. but it will be soon.
Does anyone else think it's a little weird that she refers to him as Manson? I mean, aren't people generally on a first name basis with their serious long term boyfriends?

Evan Rachel Wood might be insane, but she has a pretty firm grasp on what she wants from her career. She recently told USA Today that she will continue to take roles in offbeat movies like Across The Universe. She said:

"I don't care about being famous, because anyone can be famous. You can be absolutely nothing and be famous. Same thing with being beautiful. Anybody can be beautiful. And people have definitely proven that point.

While filming scenes for the Beatles Musical, Across the Universe, Evan Rachel Wood couldn't stop crying after the director said "cut".

"I'm standing there hearing The Beatles sing Let It Be, which already moves you, and then right in front of you, live, I was watching these people fold this American flag. With that song playing and with that image right in front of me, something snapped and I just broke down. I could not hold the crying in. I was thinking, 'This is happening every day, where a soldier is honored at a funeral,' and it was probably happening while we were filming that scene, and it just killed me."

Oops! I mean Evan Rachel WOOD on The Sauce. It's just that Evan looks so much like Dita in these shots (or at least she is attempting to) that I got confused. Seriously, what is happening here?

"He snores louder than anybody I have ever heard! I think it's the sweetest thing ever. It actually lulls me to sleep. "It's every snore you've ever heard, rolled into one... Manson's going to kill me."
