Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lilly Are Engaged Once Again
Looks like 'Lost' stars Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lilly are (unofficially) engaged once again. According to online reports, the pair have decided it's time to take their relationship to the next level.
Two years ago, Dominic and Evangeline called off their engagement for unknown reasons but have since reconciled.
"Dominic and Evangeline have decided that now is the time to make it official.
"They’ve been through break-ups and make-ups and feel that their love has stood the test of time. But it was very important for Dominic to let his parents know what their intentions were."They never stopped loving each other (after their split). They decided to take a break, but it was really hard on them both."
Glad to hear these two are back together. Waiting on rep confirmation.
Evangeline Lilly Wants To Be Like Angelina Jolie
This has nothing to do with a Brad Pitt crush or wanting a handful of children - it's more about Angelina Jolie's humanitarian side. Evangeline Lilly made that clear when she admitted she wanted to be like Angelina Jolie.
The ‘Lost’ star – who is known for keeping her personal life private – is in
awe of the ‘Changeling’ actress because of her selfless commitment to her
humanitarian work and devotion to charity projects.
“I’d love to be Angelina Jolie, but just the humanitarian side.”
The 29-year-old TV star is also jealous of how Angelina – who raises six
children with Brad Pitt – maintains an air of mystery and secrecy, despite
the massive interest in her private life.
She told Women’s Health magazine:
“No one knows that woman. She’s a complete
ice queen, which is perfect. Why should she be anymore? She doesn’t owe us
anything.”
Despite being one of the main stars of ‘Lost’, the Canadian beauty – who has
dated her co-star Dominic Monaghan since 2004 – is still not living her
“ultimate dream.”
“Right now, I’m happy doing a job that’s not my ultimate dream.
Even if you’re unhappy, just pretend that you’re happy! Eventually, your
smile will be contagious to yourself. I had to learn that. I used to think,
‘I’m being fake.’ But you know what? Better to be fake and happy than real
and miserable.”
I still can't believe Evangeline isn't happy with her current situation. For YEARS she's been complaining about her job and link to Lost. I don't get it. I really don't.
Evangeline Lilly Talks Pee, Turning Down Lost, And Her Love Triangle
Evangeline Lilly is happy to go to the toilet in front of her co-stars.
Well, who isn't!? :)
The actress had to overcome her inhibitions when she started filming TV
drama ‘Lost’ and claims she loses her dignity “all the time every day”.
"I'm the type
of person who, when I'm in the jungle working with Matthew Fox, will just
crouch beside a bush three feet away and take a pee.”
The 29-year-old actress also revealed she nearly turned down the role of
Kate Austin in the program - currently filming its sixth series - because
she thought the script was poor when she first read it.
“I kind of didn’t want it. I actually said, ‘That seems like a
really c**p script’. Because we never saw the entire script, just little
pieces.
“It was a plane crash on a desert island, I thought, ‘Oh give me a break –
dramatic Gilligan’s Island’. Turns out it was f***ing brilliant.”
CAN YOU IMAGINE if she turned it down? What regret she would feel every day for the rest of her life!
Evangeline also added she is not interested in her hunky co-stars Matthew
and Josh Holloway – who are locked in a love triangle with her on the show –
in real life.
The brunette beauty - who is dating former ‘Lost’ co-star Dominic Monaghan -
said:
“I’m not invested one way or the other. Matt and Josh are like my
brothers. I love them, but I could never go there.
“It’s like if you had two brothers and had to decide which of them you’d
like to do.”
To each his own right? I go back and forth all season long between Matthew and Josh. Lately, I've been leaning towards Josh. Yummmmmmmmm

Hilary Swank And Evangeline Lilly At Cannes
YOWZA!
Ok, that was a little nerdy, I know, but these two ladies just knocked my socks off with how beautiful they both looked at Cannes today. Hilary Swank and Evangeline Lilly wow'ed on the red carpet. Eva Herzigova and model Doutzen Kroes were also in full-on glamour for the premiere of 'Looking for Eric.'

Freida Pinto And Evangeline Lilly Are The Newest World Spokespeople For L'Oreal Paris
L'Oreal Paris has just announced their two newest world spokespeople: 'Slumdog Millionaire' star Freida Pinto and 'Lost' star Evangeline Lilly. They join current spokeswoman Elizabeth Banks.
'On the eve of the Cannes Festival, to which I want to reiterate our attachement, L'Oreal Paris is delighted that these great stars of world cinema have agreed to represent our brand,' states Jean-Jacques Lebel, President L'Oreal Consumer Products."
Freida issued the following statement:
I am very moved to be joining the great L'Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of."
Evangeline had this to say:
It is a source of great pride for me to represent a brand whose ambition is to respnd to every person's aspirations to beauty, and contribute to the fulfillment and well-being of everyone."
I think those are two great choices! Congratulations to Freida and Evangeline, and kudos to L'Oreal for selecting them!
Now if only we could get Evangeline to spill just one, or maybe two, secrets about the 'Lost' finale...

Evangeline Lilly Is Staying Lost... For Now
Lost fans will be happy to hear all those rumors of Evangeline Lilly looking for other work are FALSE. The actress is not going on screen tests and auditions as some Internet outlets are reporting.
In fact, Evangeline says she is very happy where she is and has no intentions of leaving the hit show.
A representative told E! Online,
"(The rumors) are absolutely false."
Lilly herself added,
"I am very happy on Lost and have no reason to look anywhere else for a home."
She should be happy! Last year, Evangeline got a $70,000 pay bump PER EPISODE!!!!!
