Gerard Butler Always Falls For The Wrong Girl
Gerard Butler always falls in love with the wrong girls. The Scottish actor – who has been romantically linked to Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan – says there is no pattern to the type of women he dates but they are usually “too crazy” for him to handle.
“I don’t know because often I feel that I meet a girl that is unexpected. There is no rhyme or reason. I always thought I don’t want a girl who is too crazy, too much for me, and then I meet a girl who is crazy and I go, ‘Wow, she is amazing.’
“But I can’t ever give a definite kind of woman because there are different things in different women I might like. I might like a girl who is gentle and innocent, but then again I might like a woman who is more statuesque and strong and powerful, it’s the polar opposites. It just depends on the moment, on the person, on magic.”
As he approaches his 40th birthday next Friday, ‘The Bounty Hunter’ hunk has been forced to consider his future as he eventually wants to settle down and start a family. He explained to Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper:
“Right now I question a bunch of things in my life and I am in a lot of ways more comfortable than ever. I know what still excites me, what can excite me and what is just never going to happen.
“But then also there are things I have different opinions on. Sometimes I think, ‘God, I wish I was married now, had kids’. Other times I think, ‘Thank Christ I am not married and don’t have kids yet. I can do that later.’
“But I can totally imagine it. It’s just not right now. I am great where I am at but it would be nice. It doesn’t have to be marriage. It could be to be in a relationship and I would definitely like kids some day.”
I suppose it's different for a man. He could wait a few years and still be able to fulfill this lifelong dream. Imagine a woman in her 40s finally realizing that perhaps she might be ready to start thinking about a family. That's an entirely different tune.

Gerard Butler attended a photocall for his movie "Gesetz der Rache" ("Law Abiding Citizen") at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Berlin, Germany.

In other news, Lindsay Lohan has been spotted kissing the actor. The actress was seen locking lips with Gerard after performing a raunchy dance for him at the Sol Kerzner Mazagan Beach Resort in Monaco. Following the smooch, Lindsay was quoted by Britain’s Daily Mirror as saying:
“He’s hot, he’s mine. I’ve got no ring on my finger so I’m gonna have lots of fun. This is the most romantic place in the world after all.”
Earlier in the evening, the ‘Mean Girls’ actress had admitted to fellow partygoers that her romance with Samantha was over for good and she was out to enjoy herself.
“I’m fed up of all the drama. I just want to find someone who loves me back. I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack every time I think about the break-up. I’m here to have fun now.

This is one of those stories that just goes to show, you never know how things will turn out! Gerard Butler said he was only weeks away from qualifying as an attorney when he decided to go to Hollywood and try his hand at acting. He explained it to Britain's Men's Health magazine.
"You have to understand that I was completely out of control. If I hadn't been so lost and insane, I'd still be a lawyer. I said to myself, I'm aiming for the stars. I'll worry about the details later."
He said he was at a personal "low point" when he made the decision.
"That was the worst day of my life, now it's the best."
While Gerard admits talent and luck were factors in his success, the real key was working hard.
"The universe conspires. Once you decide to do something, the universe starts to help you.
"There are a lot of people who are really talented, and I can see they're not going to make it because they don't work hard enough."
I've seen that: talent and luck matter, but hard word is the key.

Hot New Couple Alert: Jessica Simpson And Gerard Butler
Jessica Simpson and Gerard Butler are Hollywood's newest item according to a source at The NY Post. The pair was spotted on a date at Soho House Tuesday night alongside friends including Ken Paves.
"They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours," a spy told Page Six. "They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken."
Publicists for both didn't return calls.

Remember when Gerard Butler was asked awhile back if he was dating 'The Bounty' co-star Jennifer Aniston? Here was his response to Access Hollywood:
Well, Gerard says he didn't have to explain or apologize to Jennifer when he returned to the set (they were filming 'The Bounty' at the time).
"She totally gets it," he told Shaun [of Access Hollywood]. "She just did a press junket for her movie and she said she was asked the same question the whole time and she was like, 'Well I'm going to keep you guys guessing.' She has fun with it too."
In this day and age, when actors and actresses get even more attention for their personal lives than their work, I guess it's to be expected that they use the rumors to their advantage sometimes!
