I Want To Believe... In Parasites
I can't stop thinking about the word parasite every time I see Amanda Peet. It's so bad! It's permanently embedded in my head. I'm trying to enjoy these great pictures of Amanda laughing and having a good time at the premiere of The X Files: I Want to Believe in LA, but I can't. It's also completely removed my focus on the two main characters from the event - Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny! Parasites. Just parasites. UGH.

Gillian Anderson Is Pregnant
Gillian Anderson is pregnant with her third child. The X Files star and her boyfriend have announced that they are expecting. The couple have one other child together, Oscar who was born in 2006.
Expect to see Gillian reprise her role as Scully on July 25th. Any X Files fans? I think this is one movie that my mother might actually go to the theatre to see.

Anyone else excited to see David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson back together for X Files 2? I know my mother is losing sleep over this one as she was completely OBSESSED with the TV program. Kristen Bell, Gillian Anderson, & David Duchovny At Wondercon
Kristen Bell was looking especially lovely in her white blouse and denim trousers at this years Wondercon which is being held in San Fransisco, California. I had no idea what Wondercon was so I went to their site and apparently it's the first major Comics Convention. So there ya go - learn something new everyday. :)
Also in attendance were the "X-Files" duo, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny. I'm thinking were are going to see a lot more of them since they are currently filming their second untitled X-Files movie which is set to be released this July 25th. Even my MOTHER is excited about that!
How To Lose Friends And Alienate People
I was in the city yesterday with a friend of mine. I got invited to see an advanced screening of Weeds and Californication by Showtime. I will post about that a little later on. Anyway, as we drove in, we passed the shooting of this movie. I whipped out my camera to try to take a shot. But I am not trained in the ninja ways of the paparazzi. So, I missed! Lucliky, Splash is more on top of things.

Sidney Young is a disillusioned intellectual who both adores and despises the world of celebrity, fame and glamour. His alternative magazine, Post Modern Review, pokes fun at the media obsessed stars and bucks trends, and so when Young is offered a job at the diametrically opposed conservative New York based Sharps magazine its something of a shock! It seems Sharps editor Clayton Harding is amused by Young's disruption of a post-BAFTA party with a pig posing as Babe. Thus begins Sidney's descent into success - his gradual move from derided outsider to confidante of starlet Sophie Maes - and a love affair with colleague Alison Olsen, that will either make him or break him.

Gillian Anderson Welcomes A Baby Boy
Actress Gillian Anderson welcomed a six pound eight ounce baby boy Oscar into the world on Nov. 1 2006. The 38-year-old delivered her second child at London's exclusive Portland Hospital, three weeks before he was due. Anderson and her boyfriend Mark Griffiths have only just publicized the birth because they wanted to wait until Oscar was out of intensive care. Her spokesman says, "Both mother and baby are doing fine now." Anderson already has a 12-year-old daughter, Piper Maru, from her relationship with The X-Files art director Clyde Klotz.
