Gwyneth Paltrow Is Clean
I'm sure Gwyneth Paltrow is always clean, of course, but she just completed a three-week detox program called the "Clean" detox, so I'm just playing with words ;) Gwyneth blogged about it on her GOOP website.
As I write this, I am finishing the amazing three-week-long "Clean" detox program detailed below... this program allowed me to work and exercise regularly, something I cannot do if I am on a liquid-only detox.
I feel pure and happy and much lighter (I dropped the extra pounds that
I had gained during a majorly fun and delicious "relax and enjoy life
phase" about a month ago).I also really enjoyed learning about the incredible health benefits of resting your digestive system, etc."

Gwyneth Paltrow Has Made Spain Her Second Home
Has Gwyneth Paltrow traded England for Spain as her new favorite country? I don't know about that, but it certainly sounds like she loves Spain. She says it's her "second home."
It is so different from the United States. It seemed to have a
history, and the buildings are years and years and years old. Here in
the United States an old building is about 17 (years old), and over
there it's from 500 B.C., it's incredible," she tells the Associated
Press."Also, the way people live over there. They seem to enjoy life a
little bit more," she continued. "They aren't running around as much as
in New York. They enjoy time with the family. They don't always have
their Blackberries on."
She shot the PBS show 'Spain... On the Road Again' and lived with a local family whom she is still close to. She even makes sure Moses and Apple can speak Spanish.
Gwyneth said she is working on a book on "U.S. cuisine with Spanish influences that is due out next year."
I think it's great that Gwyneth has such an appreciation for other countries and cultures.

Gwyneth Paltrow Leaving The Salon
Rare sighting - especially since the actress doesn't have a movie to promote.
Gwyneth Paltrow was photographed leaving the Byron & Tracey Hair Salon in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon. You know, the place that EVERYONE in Hollywood goes to get their hair cut. It just has to be for free. There MUST be some promotion going on.
"We will do whatever you want to your hair in exchange for you walking out the front door and letting the paparazzi take pictures of you."
Right! I mean - it can't be that good of a place. LOL!
As far as Gwyneth's look - I'm loving the warmer, shorter haircut on her. Doesn't it really suits her. What do you think about her new 'do?

Gwyneth Paltrow Jealous Of Scarlett Johansson
Yawn!! Why can't two successful women work together without these silly cat fight stories coming out to try to promote the film!? There are other ways to get people to talk about 'Iron Man 2'.
RUMOR HAS IT that Gwyneth Paltrow is jealous of the attention Scarlett Johansson is
receiving of the set of their latest movie.
The ‘Shakespeare in Love’ actress is said to be annoyed with her ‘Iron Man
2’ co-star’s attitude leading to a frosty atmosphere between the two screen
beauties.
“Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett. They come
from different worlds and have completely different styles. Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding for the attention of the crew.
It’s not a happy set.”
Gwyneth – who reprises her role as Pepper Potts in the superhero movie,
based on the Marvel comic book series - is also said to be upset producers
decided to cast 24-year-old Scarlett in the part of sexy former spy Natasha
Romanoff.
The source added to Britain’s The Sun newspaper:
“Gwyneth and Scarlett have
never been particularly close. Gwyneth was looking forward to working with
Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being
Scarlett.“Gwyneth’s had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she
and Scarlett haven’t developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at
the halfway point.”
Gwyneth, 36, has now taken a break from filming to join her husband Chris
Martin as he continues to tour the US with his band Coldplay.
Once she returns, the mother-of-two will shoot the movie’s main action
scenes, something she is looking forward to.

Chris Martin of Cold Play performed on the opening night of their US tour at the Cruzan Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida and guess who was in the audience cheering him on? Gwyneth Paltrow was photographed smiling and enjoying the music in the crowd amongst a group of friends.
What a rush that must be - for BOTH parties!

Mario Batali Is Gwyneth Paltrow's Frenemy
Remember when Gwyneth Paltrow posted her own blind item on GOOP? Many people speculated that Gwyneth was referring to her reportedly former BFF, Winona Ryder. Now the true frenemy has unmasked himself: Food Network chef Mario Batali, Gwyneth's 'Spain... On the Road Again' cohost!
The rumor regarding Gwyneth and Winona is that their friendship ended after Gwyneth got a part that Winona supposedly wanted: Gwyneth's Academy Award-winning role in 'Shakespeare in Love.'
'Well, I wanted the part as well, too, I must point out,' Batali joked with Us. 'And I said some very nasty things about both those girls in the
bathroom one day. And thank God there were no blogs yet at that time
because no one was able to write it down!' "
(Please note the "Batali joked with Us" part before you ask if I'm serious ;)
Mario did make a point of saying it was "interesting" that now anyone can print something on the internet and it becomes "actual fact in no time at all."
Mario also said Gwyneth really can't complain.
'If you're going to be famous and make $5 million a movie, you gotta take the lumps,' he said."
He does have a point there, I guess.
Interestingly, I hadn't thought a whole lot about Winona being the frenemy rumor until now, but with a member of Gwyneth's inner circle is addressing it openly (even if it's in a joking way), I wonder if it could be true? Or am I reading waaay too much into this?
