I guess this is just another case of the media making the break up dirtier than it really is. When children are involved, there is only so much hatred and animosity you can harbor for your soon-to-be ex spouse. Paul McCartney and his daughter sent flowers to Heather Mills to show their support for her efforts on Dancing with the Stars. Here is what she told Larry King:

"It was nice. There was a card that read, 'Dear Mummy, love Daddy and Beatrice.' We still have a friendship, it's just the lawyers who are nasty. Not on my side, but on his side. There's one woman. The lawyer, Fiona Shackleton, wants to drag it out to fill her pockets. She has said some mean things. She wants to make it as difficult as possible."
"I still love him. He's the father of my child. But you can love someone and not be right for each other and have to move on. It's like a death. You marry someone because you are madly in love. We had a beautiful child after I'd had ectopic pregnancies and a miscarriage. We were together for seven years. We tried and tried and tried. But sometimes you have to say, 'It's not working.'"

Rumors have been circulating ever since Paul McCartney and Heather Mills filed for divorce that Heather was only in a relationship with Paul for the money. Now sources are claiming that Heather actually has so little money, that she has had to complete some of her own recent arguments in court because she can no longer afford her high-profile attorney. Could she really be that broke?

A source close to Mills and McCartney tells Access Hollywood that Heather has "got no money."
In fact, although Heather and Paul hired the same attorneys used by Prince Charles and Princess Diana, our source says Heather couldn't afford to use them. As a result, Heather has had to head to court on two occasions to argue for herself.(source)

Heather Mills is filing suit against The Daily Mail, London's Evening Standard, and The Sun. She claims they have each written false statements about her and she is tired of being followed by their photographers. If she won this case, the flood gates would open up in Hollywood and every media publication known to man would be taken down. Good luck Heather! Call me crazy... but I don't take anything seriously that comes out of The Daily Mail or The Sun. I don't have much experience with the London Standard. But I'm guessing their quality of journalism is about par with the other two.

Heather Mills McCartney's lawyers said Tuesday she is suing two newspapers over "false, damaging and immensely upsetting" stories surrounding her divorce from Paul McCartney. The law firm Mishcon de Reya named the Daily Mail and London's Evening Standard as the subject of legal proceedings, adding that a suit will also be filed against The Sun. (source)
