Helen Mirren Said No To An Oscar Botox Session

Helen Mirren was offered a treatment of Botox to help her look her best for the Oscars. She turned it down because she is afraid of needles (and because she DOESN'T NEED IT).
'I'm very vain, which initially made playing Elizabeth Windsor in all those tweeds pretty daunting,' she said. 'But I'm not fond of all those needles and scalpels. I'll try to get away with make-up, jewelery and a nice frock.' (source)
The most interesting part of this story is she admitted that those that attended the award show got a goodie bag filled with vouchers for cosmetic surgery procedures. WOW! That is some gift bag! I wonder who took them up on their offer...
