Celebrities Attend The 82nd Annual Academy Awards Vanity Fair Party
While the rest of the country turned off their TVs and headed to bed once the Oscars ended, the celebrities continued to party through the night. Charlize Theron, Taylor Lautner, Kate Beckinsale, Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Hilary Swank, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson, Katy Perry, and Russell Brand were among the A-listers who attended The 82nd Annual Academy Awards Vanity Fair Party.
Hilary has some body doesn't she? And she really loves to show it off. Cameron changed into another stunning dress. Can't decide which one I like better - her ceremony or after party look. And Amy is simply glowing - I really love keeping up with her pregnant fashion choices. She does no wrong.

Hilary Swank Not Rushing Into Another Marriage
Hilary Swank tells Oprah that she's not quite ready to remarry. Hilary has been dating boyfriend, John Campisi, for about three years already. She was previously married to actor Chad Lowe; they divorced in 2006. She appeared on Oprah's show today and shared a little bit about their relationship.
On marriage:
"It's not something we're talking about,"
But then she adds:
"I don't know. We'll see."
Things are going quite well between the two. John even took a leap of faith and rode in an airplane with Hilary flying.
"I went to pick up my boyfriend from a meeting in Vegas," Swank, says of learning to fly a plane. "I canceled his flight and showed up, and he saw the plane and he said, 'I have to get in there?' I said, 'We flew all this way, you better get in.' And then he white-knuckled it the whole way."
Can you imagine getting ready to fly home and suddenly your girlfriend is out there in a plane waiting to fly you instead of your commercial airliner? LOL

13th Annual Hollywood Film Festival Awards Gala
Last night was the 13th Annual Hollywood Film Fest Awards Gala, held in Beverly Hills.
Hilary Swank & Robert De Niro were both honored for their bodies of work, simply called the "Actress Award" and the "Actor Award". In the "Breakthrough" category, actress Gabourey Sidibe was honored for Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. I'm looking forward to seeing the performances in that movie. I'm sure it's going to be very hard to watch, but I keep hearing great things about it.

Hilary Swank Sweated Her Way Through Flight Lessons
Hilary Swank was left drenched in sweat after her first flight lesson.
The actress – who plays famous aviator Amelia Earhart in upcoming movie 'Amelia' – says she was concentrating so hard it left her covered in perspiration.
“I’m not big on sweating, but I found that after two hours of a flight lesson, I would land and my back was drenched. It wasn’t from fear, but from concentration.”
Hilary – who was stopped from getting her full pilot’s license because the film’s insurance would not cover it – also revealed she felt privileged to play Amelia, who went missing in 1937 after a flight. The Oscar-winning star told Chicago Sun-Times:
“Her life was certainly short. But she accomplished so much in that lifetime. She was also a reminder to me that you constantly have to look within. You have to also live for yourself and not other people. I want to look at my life and know I’m not missing anything.
“I believe that you can live your life the way you want, find love and experience your dreams. You can have it all. For a short time, Amelia had it all.”
Am I the only person who constantly thinks of THIS QUOTE whenever I hear Hilary's name these days? That one is going to stay with me for a while.
Hilary Swank Ready To Fly Solo
Hilary Swank caught the "aviation bug" while filming for her upcoming role as Amelia Earhart. Hilary racked up 19 hours in flight time but couldn't complete the solo requirement.
“You have to fly solo, obviously, to get your pilot’s license and the insurance policy on the movie was never going to allow me do that.”
She plans to finish what she started, however.
"I definitely want to see that through,” she said.
Hilary shared with Access Hollywood about portraying the most famous female pilot in history.
“She had the Amelia Earhart clothing line, the Amelia Earhart luggage – and it was all to finance her flying,” Hilary said of Amelia’s stardom.
“This was a woman who made no apologies for living her life the way she wanted,” Hilary told Access at the film’s junket. “She was ahead of her time, in the ‘20s and ‘30s. She was living in 2009.”
The movie opens in theaters this Friday. Are you planning to go see it? I think Hilary is an amazingly talented actress and I'm intrigued to see Hollywood's take on Amelia's life.
