Howard Stern
Winner Of Howard Stern's 'Tiger Woods Mistress Beauty Pageant'

A few weeks ago we told you about a beauty pageant that Howard Stern was going to hold for Tiger Woods' mistresses. Well, it really happened.
Jamie Jungers was crowned the winner. She was snapped as she left Howard Stern Show in New York City today after she was declared the big winner in Howard Stern's Tiger Woods Mistress Beauty Pageant. She walked away with a ring custom designed by Steven Singer Jewelers which features a 3-carat round black diamond in the center with another half carat in diamonds around it, along with $100,000 in cash prizes.
The runner up was Loredana Jolie. I can't remember which one she was - I think we all became a little numb after the first few. Who could keep them straight?
At one point there were four or five mistresses who agreed to compete, I'm not sure how many actually showed up. Did anyone tune and listen to the contest?

Howard Stern On Jay Leno

You can always count on Howard Stern to tell you how he really feels. Here's a clip of him talking about Jay Leno.
Ouch. Last night was Jay's first night back as host of 'The Tonight Show.' He beat David Letterman by wide margins in the ratings, which isn't exactly unexpected: people are undoubtedly curious. The question is: will his ratings stay so high?
Howard Stern Hosting Beauty Contest For Tiger Woods' Mistresses

Shock jock Howard Stern is set to host a beauty pageant for the mistresses of Tiger Woods. The prize? $100,000!
So far four of Tiger's alleged thirteen mistresses have agreed to participate. There will be traditional categories such as: swimsuit, personality and talent, but knowing Howard, this won't be your traditional pageant.
The prize money for Stern’s pageant will be supplied by AshleyMadison.com, a “discreet dating service” company. The site, which has 4.5 million users, advertises itself with the slogan “Life is Short, Have an Affair.”
No word on which four have agreed to go along with it. I guess they've got pretty good odds at winning that pile of cash if only four are going to participate.
Are you surprised? Appalled? Indifferent?

Simon Cowell Says No Truth To Howard Stern Joining Idol

You just can't replace one meanie with another. That's what Simon Cowell said in a recent interview with the Daily News shooting down rumors that Howard Stern is planning on joining the judges panel.
"We have to have people on these shows who actually know what they're talking about, rather than just guessing. They've really got to have experience, so that they can not just criticize, but offer constructive advice as well."
So Stern is out. But who does Simon think would make a good replacement?
"You're never going to pick anyone as good as you are, are you?" Cowell joked. "That's why I don't think anybody [at Fox] really asks me that question."
That's Simon for you! :)
Ellen DeGeneres Against Howard Stern As A Replacement For Simon Cowell

Well, Howard Stern may think he has what it takes to fill Simon Cowell's spot on 'American Idol,' but new judge Ellen DeGeneres doesn't agree, according to Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood.
I've just learned Howard Stern is indeed "being considered" as a judge but my sources tell me that "Ellen is not in favor" of his joining the panel.
Nikki also reports that there's tension between Ellen and Simon because Simon was an hour and a half late for their first taping of the Hollywood auditions.
"Here it was the first day of taping of the Hollywood shows, and Ellen was there waiting for Simon to show up. Ellen's new to the gig and she's very organized and she made a commitment to take this on, and now she's asking herself, 'What did I get myself into?' She called Simon Cowell a prima donna. So right from the start, the chemistry isn't great," an insider tells us.
After the show, Ellen reportedly called a Fox executive and asked him to "hurry up and pick" Simon's replacement. But not Howard, apparently.
If this is all true, it sounds like Ellen's angling to become a pretty influential person on 'American Idol.' Have you watched Ellen as a judge? If so, what do you think?

Howard Stern Confirms 'American Idol' Rumors

On his radio show this morning, Howard Stern confirmed the rumors of his considering taking over for Simon Cowell on 'American Idol' - if the price is right.
“There’s not a better job on the planet than judging that f---ing karaoke contest,” Stern said.
He says they'd have to pay him a lot of money, considering he currently makes $100 million per year!
“It might be possible, we’ll see,” he said, adding: “They’d have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough.”
He definitely thinks he has what it takes to fill Simon's shoes:
"If I do say do myself, I can't imagine anyone else but me replacing (Cowell),” Stern said. “I mean, I don't know. How else are they going to make that show work? Who knows how to broadcast and who knows how to be interesting? And who's not afraid to speak their mind?"
He has a valid point. But, it would probably mean he would have to get used to toning down his language and whatnot for network television. He's had "free reign" for so long, I bet it'd be a little difficult at first.

America Idol Wants Howard Stern

Well, if they are trying to replace a meanie with a meanie - that's the best choice possible! Either Howard Stern or Gordon Ramsay right? Both know NOTHING about music though - so is this really just about breaking spirits?
An insider said that producers of the hit Fox show say Stern, America's highest-paid radio personality, is their top choice to take over from Cowell, who leaves at the end of this season. They approached the King of All Media after he repeatedly mentioned on-air that his exclusive Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January and he was open to other offers. Cowell was paid $50 million a year.
A source connected to "Idol" said, "It's one of the few shows that could compete with Stern's $100 million-a-year Sirius contract, and 'Idol' bosses think he'd be even nastier than Simon.
That would be... awesome. I MISS Howard ever since he left free radio. I am not a Sirius subscriber, so I've done without. But BOY would it be nice to have Howard back. Do you think Howard would be a honest judge?
