Hugh Grant Loves Sex And The City
Hugh Grant used to call Sarah Jessica Parker everyday to tell her he loved ‘Sex and the City’.
The British actor became a fan of the show when he worked with Sarah on new comedy film ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’ earlier this year and would give Sarah a daily critique of her performance in the series. He told Entertainment Weekly magazine:
“I would watch ‘Sex and the City’ every night and then call Sarah and say, ‘I loved that episode.’ I’m very proud of liking her, because I don’t like just anyone. I’m also very proud of respecting her because there are very few people I respect.”
The pair completed filming of the romantic comedy in the summer and play a husband and wife who are both successful businesspeople but who are struggling to stop their marriage from falling apart.
Meanwhile, Sarah has revealed the Hollywood co-stars spent their spare time on set running around with toy guns for a game called Assassin.
“You were given a Polaroid of the person you’re meant to kill and when you kill them you get the Polaroid of their intended victim. The first day at lunch Hugh killed three people within the first 10 minutes. And then I think you were killed.”
Hugh, 49, added:
“Yes, I was. It was an orgy of blood. She was killed by a crew member who used to be special ops in Afghanistan.”
Sounds like a fun set!! I miss my Sunday nights with Sex and the City.

Sarah Jessica Parker And Hugh Grant Talk About Their New Movie With Entertainment Weekly
Sarah Jessica Parker is one busy lady! In addition to shooting the second 'Sex and the City' movie, she has a new film about to hit theaters with Hugh Grant as her co-star. It's called 'Did You Hear About The Morgans,' and it's a romantic comedy about a couple who end up in the witness protection program in Wyoming.
Although Sarah and Hugh had worked together before, on a thriller called 'Extreme Measures' in 1996, Hugh and the director for this film had worked together three times before. Entertainment Weekly wondered if Sarah experienced any hazing as a result.
Sarah Jessica Parker: They were very hospitable. If there was a hazing process it was very subtle.
Hugh Grant: She was allowed to eat lunch at the same table, but not [right next to us].
Sarah and Hugh also dished on their on-set quirks.
Grant: She likes to be doing her BlackBerry all the time. During takes. I’ve never seen Black-Berrying like it.
Parker: Yours was smaller so it was less obvious.
Grant: I need to be cheered up, but she’s very good at that. I’m Mr. Grumpy Pants. She’s never grumpy. Except that one day she got grumpy.
Parker: Hugh sets the table like “I’m grumpy. I’m difficult. I’m gloomy. I’m bitter.” Maybe bitter is not a word you use…
Grant: Actually not. Thank you.
And how is Sarah dealing with promoting this film while also filming 'Sex and the City'?
This is so much more relaxing. I feel in some way I know this situation better than whatever
madness we’ve been experiencing on the streets for the last 10 days. There’s just so much peripheral stuff with that movie.

Hugh Grant Attacks Photographer (Again)
We've been down this road before! Water bottles, baked beans, garbage - whatever Hugh Grant can get his hands on typically works. Yesterday the actor attacked a photographer trying to take his picture by KICKING HIM. And yes, it's all on film.
The ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ actor lashed out after leaving New York’s Waverly Inn restaurant with a friend, kicking the unnamed paparazzo in the groin as he offered the star directions to find a cab.
At first, Hugh seemed to share jokes with the waiting photographers, asking: “Have you ever had sex? Or are you just w***ing on the internet?”
One snapper then said: “Where are the ladies tonight?”
To which Hugh replied: “Not even a man, not even a man.”
After being advised to head in a different direction to locate a taxi, Hugh passed closely by the waiting photographers and launched his swift attack.
The injured photographer said:
"That wasn't cool. What's your problem? What the hell is your problem?"
Another urged his colleague to sue, shouting: "That's great, now you've got a lawsuit on you. We’ve got it all on camera."
This is not the first time the 49-year-old British star has been involved in an altercation with photographers.
In 2007, he hurled a tub of baked beans at waiting paparazzi who were trying to take pictures of his former girlfriend Liz Hurley.
However, he was not charged over the incident.

Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant are officially an item according to The NY Post. In fact, while hanging out at the Waverly Inn, sources claim that Drew jumped into Hugh's arms and then the two "made out" in front of everyone to see.
I guess I can see Drew being that free-spirited.
Later in the evening, the actress headed over to the Beatrice Inn and Hugh did not accompany her.

Daniel Craig, Hugh Grant and Robbie Coltrane collectively raised $38,000 at a recent auction. What did they give away? A lip locking smooch!! The winner of the kisses was none other than James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli.
Proceeds went to The National Film and Television School in London. All in good fun and for a great cause to boot.

That must have been a sight to see! In the name of charity, Hugh Grant took part in a bidding war to snag an extra role in an upcoming movie. As if he needs it! :)

roles in the forthcoming comedy Lost for Words at a London auction
fundraiser on Tuesday. Sadly, the actor was outbid by $4,000. Guess he is going to have to rely on his agent to secure him time on the big screen.
