Hugh Jackman Having A Blast With Daughter
Hot Daddy of the Week! Hugh Jackman was out at the park near his NYC home today playing with his daughter, Ava. It looks like the two are having the time of their lives! Even though Hugh joked that he was looking forward to being a slob once his duties as Sexiest Man are over....I bet his kids will keep him in great shape! His wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, looks on as the two frolic down the slide and monkey around on all of the park equipment. There's nothing sexier than a great daddy and family man.
Since it was announced that Hugh declined the invitation to host the Oscars this year, the rumor mill is spinning like crazy, speculating who the hosting duties might go to. The loudest rumor so far is that Billy Crystal will return to host for the 9th time.

Hugh Jackman Is Ready To Be A Slob Again
Hugh Jackman's reign as People's Sexiest Man Alive is coming to an end. Sigh. He shared his thoughts about this transition with the magazine. Who would he like to get the title this year?
"Me! I want to be the first to have it back to back, buddy," Jackman, 41, told PEOPLE's reporter on Friday in New York, while attending the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert (set to air on HBO Nov. 29). "That would be fantastic!"
But Hugh recognizes there are some good things to come from no longer bearing the title.
"I thought there were thousands of other guys that deserved it, but it's been a great year. But now the pressures off," he said good-naturedly. "I can be a slob again."
Slob or not, Hugh, you always look fantastic!

No Oscar For Hugh Jackman
I am really saddened to hear this. Hugh Jackman has passed on the opportunity to host the 2010 Oscars. It's being reported that he'd like to take a small rest after he's finished with A Steady Rain, before he starts shooting his next film. It's understandable, as I'm sure preparing for the hosting duties is quite a lot of work.
He did such a fantastic job last year. I cannot remember ever enjoying the host THAT much. He'll be a hard act to follow. The good news is that sources say he hasn't said no to all future Oscars, just next year's.
Who do you think would be a great host? Would you like to see any of the past hosts return? They should hold a poll and let the viewers decide.

Hugh Jackman Honors Wife, Talks Family
Does Hugh Jackman have a single flaw? The man can dance, sing, act, host awards shows. He's an amazing father and husband - the list just goes on! Hugh and his wife, Deborah-Lee Furness, were attending the Worldwide Orphans Foundation Gala and Hugh gushed about his wife and children.
He and his wife have 2 children, Oscar (9) and Ava (4). He shares the best parenting advice they've received:
“Make sure you have a date night just the two of you together, without the kids,” “And don’t be afraid to tell your kids that you have no idea what you’re doing either.”
I don't know too many parents who will admit they have no idea what they are doing. LOL! At least he's honest with them, right?
He says the family is very excited to celebrate Halloween.
“I’m going to be trick-or-treating, but I’ll actually be onstage performing [in A Steady Rain] on Saturday night,” he says. “I’ll help them get dressed. My daughter this morning decided she wanted to be a muffin. I said, ‘what flavor?’ and she said ‘chocolate chip.’”
How cute is that? I wonder if they'll make the costume up themselves? They seem like those kind of parents.
Hugh attended the benefit to honor his wife, who is the founder of a child advocacy organization called Orphan Angels. You can tell how proud he is of her:
“One of the highlights is honoring this beautiful, amazing woman who happens to be my wife, and she does amazing work and has done for many years all over the world,” Hugh says. “It’s my great responsibility to honor her.”
Swoon! I love how we always see pictures of him with his family. He seems to be very hands-on and involved in every way. Deborah-Lee is a lucky woman!
Robert Pattinson Loses Out To Hugh Jackman... In A Karaoke Battle
Robert Pattinson lost a karaoke contest to Hugh Jackman. The British actor is set to star in ‘Unbound Captives’ with the ‘X Men Origins: Wolverine’ star and revealed they bonded by seeing who could perform the best renditions of classic tracks by Swedish group Abba. Robert said:
“We met up in Japan and we went karaoke singing. We were singing Abba songs, it was pretty funny. It was sort of an Abba song sing-off, you know, last man standing.
"I think he won, only because he can drink more than me and still sing in tune. He's a cool guy and I'm really looking forward to that film."
Robert has previously shown his musical side by recording songs for the ‘Twilight’ soundtrack and despite also featuring in the music for sequel ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ says he felt like “a t****r” when the movie came out. He told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper:
"When the first film came out I felt like a complete t****r. It looked like I was trying to be cool or something, like Eminem. You know, be in a movie and then do a song for the soundtrack. But I didn't look cool, I just looked ridiculous."
I would imagine no one else thought he looked ridiculous.

Hugh Jackman looked especially handsome as he walked around the streets of New York City yesterday with his family. I don't know about you but seeing him holding his daughter's hand is making my heart MELT!

Hugh Jackman & Family Pick Pumpkins
'Tis the season! Hugh Jackman spent some quality time with his family at a pumpkin farm in Connecticut today. I love the way they just live their lives and try to do it as normally as possible. They seem to tune out the cameras - or do their best to. It's a good thing he's in such great shape - it looks like the kids picked out a BIG pumpkin!
