Hulk Hogan Opens Up About Suicide Thoughts
Hulk Hogan thought about killing himself when his marriage ended. The legendary wrestler - real name Terry Bollea - got as far as picking up a gun to shoot himself when wife Linda Bollea filed for divorce after nearly 24 years together, following claims he had had an affair in 2007.
In his autobiography, ‘My Life Outside the Ring’, Hulk wrote:
“There were times when I thought that a whole bottle of pills would go down easy. Then I noticed the gun in my hand. I was careless with it… I kept my finger pressed right to that trigger… and if I moved that finger an inch in the right direction I would have blown my brains out.”
Hulk’s depression descended further when his son Nick was indicted on reckless driving charges. He had been involved in an accident which left his friend and passenger, John Graziano, with a broken skull and in need of lifelong medical care.
The incident happened after Nick and another friend were racing their cars, and Nick was sentenced to eight months in jail.
Hulk, 56, has also spoken of his dismay at Linda choosing to date Charlie Hill, a student 29 years her junior after their split. Charlie attended the same high school as Nick, 19, and the couple’s daughter, Brooke, 21.
Hulk felt “humiliated” to live in Tampa, Florida, and see his car driven by the teenager, but eventually he “took the high road” and “turned to Christ”.
Hogan V Hogan Is Settled
It sounds like Linda Hogan said it best:
The war Linda's referring to is her contentious divorce with Hulk Hogan. After months of feuding, the pair reached a settlement this morning. Hulk said after the proceedings:
"When you're married to someone for 23 years ... you hope for the best .... We just got torn apart."
It got so bad Hulk even said told Rolling Stone at one point:
"I totally understand OJ. I get it. I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody's throat."
Before the proceedings, Hulk and Linda reportedly were seen smiling and she even kissed his cheek! The terms of the settlement have not been announced, but they must have been good ;)
I bet their kids, Brooke and Nick, are relieved.

Hulk Hogan Now Understands OJ
Even though the glove did not fit - OJ Simpson will never live down the murder wrap for Nicole Brown's death he faced years ago (in 1994 - can you believe that much time has passed). In fact, while talking about wanting to kill his ex-wife's new boyfriend, Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) brought up the athlete in his description on how he is currently feeling.
Hulk is currently in a bitter divorce battle with his wife Linda,
49, and is having a hard time accepting her relationship with a much
younger man who has moved into his old home.
The 55-year-old star told Rolling Stone magazine:
"I could have turned
everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody's throat. You live
half a mile from the 20,000 sq ft home you can't go to anymore, you're
driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your
Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with
your wife. I totally understand OJ. I get it."
Hogan also claims that Linda is spending an average of $40,000 a MONTH, but his wife's lawyers deny this allegation. OUCH!
Linda Hogan Fears Her Gardener Is A Spy
Divorce is hard enough as it is, but for some couples it's tougher than others. Linda Hogan took Hulk Hogan to court today over their gardener. Linda accused Hulk of having the gardener do more than just prune bushes.
In court papers filed last week, Linda alleges Hulk "Spies on Wife by
constantly questioning Mr. Cruz regarding Wife's visitors to the
marital home. Husband demands Mr. Cruz provide him with all information
regarding when visitors arrive, leave, which rooms they occupy, etc."
Hulk Hogan denies these allegations. He was forced to pay Linda the gardener's wages, however (which Linda had paid but said he was supposed to).
And to have all this play out publicly... ugh, I don't envy the Hogans.

Hulk Hogan Hiding Assets From Linda
This divorce just keeps getting uglier. Who knows who's telling the truth in this case, but Hulk Hogan has been accused by Linda Hogan of hiding assets from her so she can't get her hands on them.
He's "trying to hide assets by
passing them on to his pal Eric Bischoff for a discounted price,
according to TMZ.com Linda Bollea’s lawyers have filed papers at
Florida’s Pinellas County Court arguing over the rights to the star’s
many associated brands including Hollywood Hulk, Hulkster, Hulkamania,
as well as his product lines such as his own brand grill and energy
drink."
Of course, Hulk's lawyer denies everything.
"There has been no siphoning of money - if Linda has to ask again, we’ll be more than happy to provide the same answer."
When they were on Hogan Knows Best, I would have never in a million years DREAMED that this family would end up like this. I guess it just goes to show that even the most solid seeming marriage can crumble in an instant.
Hulk Hogan Is Proud Of Nick Hogan
As a parent, I suppose no matter trouble our children get into, we'll always find a way to be proud of them somehow. Hulk Hogan thinks Nick Hogan reacted well to the judge's sentencing.
"When the judge said, ‘You’re gonna get eight months in jail,’ Nick
didn't turn around and look at me for advice, guidance or anything. He
just took it like a man. I never got to say goodbye to him.”
If Nick had asked him for advice, I have a feeling that Hulk would have told him to try and escape as much responsibility for the accident as possible. I still get shudders when I think of that phone call Hulk made to Nick in jail telling him to work the situation to his advantage and get a reality show.
Hulk Hogan Opens Up About His Ex-Wife, Linda
Now that Nick Hogan is out of jail, I guess The Hogan family has a reason to be in the spotlight once again. The Hulk sat down with Michael Yo on the Daily 10 to talk about his relationship with ex-wife, Linda.
When Yo asks how he deals with the pressure of going through a very public divorce, Hogan says:
“You know when she finally decided she wanted to file for divorce I begged her not to because brother, when I put my hand on the Bible and I said for better or for worse, til death do us part I was one of these guys who thought I was going to be together forever. Hey I screwed up. I made mistakes you know, but I’ll sit there and tell you I did something. If I did something I’ll say I did it.
When I get this call that my wife wants a divorce I felt like a mule getting kicked by a horse. But I regrouped, got through it, started thinking positively and it was tough. I had some moments when I was like, ‘Oh my God. Am I gonna jump? Am I gonna make it?’ But you know what brother? I readjusted my thinking and I put my faith, I put God first and it’s all alright already. It’s all gonna be OK.”
When asked about the younger man Linda is seeing, Hogan says:
“I’m not here to throw stones, but I’m seeing a girl right now. Jennifer who’s 35 and I’m 55 bro. She came into my life when I needed somebody to help me. Yesterday somebody showed me a picture of Linda coming through LAX and Charlie - Linda’s 50 and Charlie’s 19 - he’s got a skateboard under his arm. And it kind of made my creep meter go up a little higher.
My hardest thing has been trying to explain this to my kids. I’ve said ‘guys your mother, the Linda that I know, loves you unconditionally. She’s a great person. She’s doing what she needs to do to get through this period of time. And sometime you have to love people from a distance if you don’t condone or believe in the way they are living their life.’ Linda living with and being in love with, and the guy is in the house he grew up in, and he went to school with you, and he’s one of your classmates -- that’s a tough one. I have a hard time explaining that one.”
Yo asks Hogan if knowing what he knows now, he would choose to do the reality show, he says:
