Maggie Gyllenhaal Feels Bad For Her Brother
Maggie Gyllenhaal “feels sorry” for her brother. The ‘Dark Knight’ actress is saddened her younger sibling Jake Gyllenhaal is constantly followed by paparazzi and admits his celebrity lifestyle has changed him as a person.
She said: “Of course, everybody does change as they grow up, but I think it’s really hard for anybody who has to figure out a way to manage it. Like in Los Angeles, I don’t always know where to avoid going – sometimes you just walk right into a paparazzi nest. I get so angry, really upset. They chase him in their car and it’s just different for him. More than anything I feel sorry for him that he has to deal with that.”
Maggie, 31, and her family – actor husband Peter Sarsgaard and their two-year-old daughter Ramona – split their time between America and Britain to avoid the intrusion into their private lives.
She explained to Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “When Ramona was born, it was bad. We were living in the West Village in New York, where all the paparazzi are, and it got frenzied. They never bother us in London. We were at Wimbledon, walking around with sausages and champagne, and we thought, ‘We are so lucky we can do that - I don’t want to give it up.’ ”
Maggie truly has the best of both worlds. As long as Jake and Reese are an item, I don't think they will be able to avoid the press.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal were photographed leaving the R & D Kitchen yesterday in Los Angeles, though the paparazzi weren't able to catch a photo of them together. I'm a huge fan of Reese because she somehow seems so normal!
It's good to know that after having two kids and being very un-Hollywood she's still managed to land Jake Gyllenhaal and several huge movie roles. ;)
Anyone in Hollywood who you admire because they appear to be unaffected?

More Wedding Talk For Reese Witherspoon And Jake Gyllenhaal
These stories keep coming out...yet nothing ever happens. So why am I still posting? Because the ONE time I don't mention a wedding rumor for Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal will be the day they finally decide to elope :) Isn't that just the way life works?
"Reese's best friend, Heather Whitney [co-owner of the
LA clothing store Poppy], just got engaged. She's
got Reese thinking! People around her have been speculating that she
and Jake are getting closer and closer to the altar, and Heather's
engagement only puts that much more pressure on them."
Their friends and family think the time is coming soon.
"At least they're discussing it. Close friends shrug and say 'I don't
know anything' when you can tell they know something. Everyone in their circle is talking about it. It's like any
other relationship -- the marriage issue has finally caught up with
them."
Do you think these two will ever actually walk down the aisle? Or will this become another Johnny Depp/Vanessa Paradis situation where we're always reading rumors about wedding bells that never come true?
