Jake Gyllenhaal was photographed horseback riding in England yesterday practicing for his upcoming role in "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". Sounds really good and I can't wait to see Jake battling some demons! That's a new angle for him isn't it?

Set in medieval Persia, the story of an adventurous prince who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world. Which is why after the prince was tricked by a dying Vizier to unleash the Sands of Time that turns out to destroy a kingdom and transforms its populace into ferocious demons. In his effort to save his own kingdom and redeem his fatal mistake, it's up to the prince and the princess to return the sands to the hourglass by using the Dagger of Time, which also gives him a limited control over the flow of time.

Wow, I did not see this one coming. Us Weekly is reporting that Jake Gyllenhaal is moving in with Reese Witherspoon and has even become part of the family helping raise her children. A source close to Reese tells Us Weekly

"Marriage is definitely what they are working toward,"

Witherspoon pal adds

"They literally don't want to spend any time away from each other"

They make an adorable couple and really seem to care about each other. I hope this works out for them.

Speaking of couples that are going strong, here are Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal! I love how a belt can completely change the look of a simple dress. Or perhaps it's Reese that is doing that. :)

Where were you on Sunday and Monday when I walked very slowly through LAX? I was like a hawk looking for its prey. But alas, it was just me and all the other non-celebs. :) I did however see some MAJOR drama go down when one flight got canceled with no plans for rescheduling. Cops were called in. People were arrested. It was WILD. I sat there and twittered blow by blow.

Back to Jake Gyllenhaal (the main purpose of this post), here he is catching his ride after landing in LAX. Anyone else still think of Heath when they see Jake?

Things are getting pretty serious between Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon. Although Reese's rep has issued a no comment statement, rumor has it that the couple is going to be getting engaged soon. But, they won't be following the typical Hollywood path of moving together, having a baby and then getting married. Reese is more traditional.

Jake Gyllenhaal is going to be the next celebrity to open up a restaurant. Anybody really surprised about that? It seems like every day some big star wants to put their name on an eatery. But, Jake is truly a foodie so he really wants to do this. A long time ago he promised himself he would open a restaurant if his acting career took off by 30. He's now 27, so he owes himself a restaurant :) A source says of Jake,

"Cooking is his big hobby and his passion."

The restaurant will serve organic food, and Jake is partnering with top cook, Chris Fischer. This summer, Jake's even planning a cycling tour of Tuscany, Italy, with Reese Witherspoon, so he can seek out food inspiration.
I don't know about the whole restaurant thing, but touring Italy on a bike sounds pretty romantic to me! Where do I sign up?!? :)

Looks like someone worked on their tan. Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal were spotted returning from a relaxing vacation in Cabo with Reese's kids by her side. Even though you can only see Jake's backside, it's still pretty obvious that it's him. I can spot him a mile away. :) The pair is now back in LA safe and sound.I just love Reese's style. Why are the paparazzi always outside of every medical building in LA? How many times have I written "leaving a medical building"? Well, they did it again catching Jake Gyllenhaal in the parking lot picking up his car. Also out running errands yesterday was Jessica Alba getting her nails done and Jessica Biel shopping and showing off an eco-bag. Love that!!WENNClick on the thumbnails to enlarge.

Just the other day we saw a very cozy and happy Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon at the Farmers Market and here they are again getting coffee in Brentwood. Only "Hello!", what happened to Jake's leg? Some time in the last two days he must have hurt himself. Poor Jakie pooh, I hope you feel better.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon looked super cute and cuddly as they enjoyed a morning of shopping at the Farmer's Market in the Pacific Palisades sans kids. I think these two make a great couple, both are low key and down to earth. What are your thoughts?
