Jamie Lynn Spears’ Boyfriend Injured In Crash And Charged By Police
Oh my goodness!
Jamie Lynn Spears’ boyfriend has been charged by police after he was injured
in a car crash.
Casey Aldridge – the father of Jamie’s 10-month-old daughter Maddie – was
reportedly rushed to Riverland Medical Center before being transferred to
the University of Mississippi Medical Center after suffering a fractured
skull in the accident early on Sunday morning.
“The doctors are pretty positive he's going to be OK. He
should recover fully. Of course you never know, but they're not expecting
him to get any worse.”
Jamie Lynn rushed to be with Casey after learning of the crash. Casey attended a bachelor party Saturday night. While driving home, he and four friends decided to go crabbing.
While en route, Casey's 2008 Ford F-250 went off the side of the road used to enter the lake area and turned over several times. Police charged him with careless operation of a motor vehicle, a
misdemeanor offense.
No rep confirmation on the severity of injury.

Jamie Lynn Spears Calls Off The Wedding
In the end did they decide that they were two young? Or was Jamie Lynn Spears worried about Casey Aldridge's cheating after she was forced to deny rumors that he was being unfaithful?
Either way, these two have called off the wedding. But, no worries, they're still going strong.
"The wedding's off. They are still
in love, living together and very happy, but they have no plans to get
married. Jamie Lynn has everything she wants and feels no need for a
ring and piece of paper."
And Jamie Lynn is also over the L.A. lifestyle.
"She has told friends and family she's never coming
back to Hollywood. She feels that part of her life is over. Jamie Lynn
enjoyed every minute of doing Zoey, but since she's had Maddie, her
life has changed completely.She’s happy being a real hands-on Southern mother and hopes to
continue that for years to come with Casey right by her side. Jamie
Lynn knows she needs to make a living when she grows older, so she's
already discussing her career options with advisers. She wants Maddie
to grow up in comfort."
I'd definitely believe that. She is almost NEVER photographed by the paparazzi and when she is, it's because Britney is near. I had to go back to December in the photo agencies archives just to find these pictures of her!
It seems like she really matured very fast after the birth of her daughter. Are you relieved to hear that she's called off the wedding? I'm just happy that she's not rushing into anything.

Jamie Lynn Spears Is Recording An Album
Imagine big and little sis' on tour with one another taking over the planet with Spears tracks?!
Jamie Lynn Spears is ready to move away from acting and follow Britney Spears' footsteps. She just wants to SING! But in order to NOT compete with the Pop Princess, Jamie Lynn is going to focus her attention on country music. Wise choice.
She's been realllllyyyy quiet, but now Jamie Lynn is shopping for record deals. According to E! Online, the 17-year-old is seeking inspiration from her southern roots and has been busy recording tracks in the country music mecca of Nashville, Tennessee.
Many moons ago, Jamie Lynn once admitted a desire to get into the music industry:
"I’ll probably do a lot of acting first, then go to singing. But I am going to definitely sing someday. So when I do start singing, buy my album!"
There is some heavy competition these days in the country music genre, but Jamie Lynn has the right people (and amount of money) behind her. Can't wait to hear what she comes out with.

Jamie Lynn Spears Wedding Still On
For a while there, we were hearing quite a bit about the wedding that Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Alridge were supposedly planning. Then suddenly the buzz died down and I started to think there was nothing to the rumors. But, even though Casey and Jamie Lynn are reported to be having relationship struggles right now, sources are reporting that the wedding is still on!
Specifically, Spears has chosen a Monique Lhuillier gown, ordered
invitations and chosen a three-tiered chocolate cake for her big day.
The date has not been set yet.
While I know that in some cases young love CAN last, I hope she watched Britney's documentary and took to heart the part where Brit says she married for the idea of it all. Do you think Casey and Jamie Lynn really have a shot at making this thing work?
Woman Sues LAPD For Forcing Her To Trick Paparazzi
Hmmmn... ok, let's take this one fact at a time.
A woman was asked by the LAPD to pretend she was Jamie Lynn Spears while attempting to get onto a flight out of LAX. This was done so the real Jamie Lynn could safely get into her seat without being photographed. Adessa Eskridge was escorted through baggage claim and through the photographer circle heads down and actually fooled the press. The woman was thanked and went on her way. Now Adessa is suing citing negligent infliction of emotional distress and false arrest.
Her laywer Chuck Vernon alleges 8 cops treated Adessa like she was being arrested and his client just can't shake the feeling.
Vernon says Eskridge has filed a claim for money with the City of L.A.,
a prelude to filing a lawsuit. Vernon says a City rep from Risk
Management contacted him yesterday. Vernon vows, if the claim is
rejected, Eskridge will file a lawsuit claiming false arrest and
negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Which Celebs Had The Most Heat For 2008?
USA Today ranks celebrities' popularity in the Celebrity Heat Index by measuring how often a celebrity is mentioned in print and online entertainment media outlets. The celebrities are ranked every week based on how much coverage they receive for the week. Today they published the results for the entire year.
Britney Spears kept her #1 position for 2008 (she was also #1 in 2007) after being the most-covered celebrity for 11 weeks this year. The pop star received a monumental amount of press attention this year (which I'm sure none of us will ever forget) between two psychiatric hospitalization and an incredible comeback, including the release of her latest album, Circus.
Angelina Jolie (#2) just edged out Jennifer Aniston (#3), while the third member of the triangle (Brad Pitt) came in at #4. Although Britney managed to have the most weeks as the most-covered celebrity, Angelina, Jennifer, and Brad had 14 weeks as the most-covered celebrities between the three of them. I suspect this trio will be tied together until their careers die down. Well, they say the worst press is no press, right?

Jamie Lynn Spears Suing Over Lipo Story
A few days ago I asked whether you all thought that it was fact or fiction that Jamie Lynn Spears had liposuction while (unknowingly) pregnant with Maddie. Some of you said you wouldn't put it past the Spears family, while others said no doctor would ever perform that surgery on a young girl (or on anybody without a pregnancy test). TMZ reports,
We're told the story is "100% NOT true" -- that Jamie Lynn has never had lipo and would "never in her life" do anything like it.
She's so upset she's considering taking legal action. Celebrities suing for false stories is turning into quite the trend this year. But, it doesn't seemed to have stopped the rags from inventing anything they can in order to sell, sell, sell!
