Jamie Lynn Spears was spotted out and about with her boyfriend in her hometown, Kentwood, Louisiana. Looks like she is trying to continue to lead as normal a life as possible. Seeing these pictures of the two of them makes me want to forget about all the rumors about her. She looks like any other typical high school girl.Sure, Jamie Lynn is a bit young to have such responsibilities, but hopefully the people who surround her will act as needed support.

Yesterday a rumor about Jamie Lynn Spears miscarrying hit the web. And from what I understand, Access Hollywood was quoted as the source by several gossip sites. But there is no such post on their end which tells me they either removed the story once they found out it wasn't true or never posted it to begin with. If you visit Access right now, you are faced with an announcement saying the latter, they never covered the story. I didn't physically see the rumor on their site so I can't say what is true or not. Either way, Jamie Lynn is fine and at home with her mother which is what really matters after all.
"Contrary to rumors, Jamie Lynn Spears has not been rushed to the hospital nor has she suffered a miscarriage. She is healthy and at home with her mother."

For some reason, I thought her team would hide this teenager under a rock until after the birth of her child. Here comes more Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy drama. Sources are reporting that Casey Aldridge, Jamie's boyfriend is NOT the father of her baby. These are some pretty serious accusations and with all the rumors surrounding this family you have to take them with a grain of salt.
"Some of us have doubts as to the legitimacy of the claim that Casey is the father. Jamie Lynn has dated Casey on and off over the past two years. But it was not steady. In fact, she was looking to date Kevin Federline's brother about a year ago. Jamie Lynn went through a time of partying, and Casey was just a part of that."
Star Magazine says that the other possible father is an older executive who works at Zoey 101.
"'Casey is being paid off to be the family's fall guy while the real father remains unidentified,' Star magazine insists. They say the real reason is that an older man could be charged with statutory rape if revealed to be the father of an under-aged girl's baby."
I guess only time will tell if this story is really true or not.
The magazine quotes "two separate Spears family insiders" who believe the father is someone who works on Jamie Lynn's kids' show. 'Jamie Lynn has been working on Zoey since she was 13,' one of the sources said. 'In Hollywood, little girls grow up fast, and she is no exception. With everything that has gone on in her family, she needed someone to look up to. But the man she found seems to have completely taken advantage of her.'"

Nickelodeon Considering Airing A Special About Sex And Love
Looks like Nickelodeon's PR team is working overtime trying to think of innovative ways to spin this whole Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy scandal. Us Magazine is reporting that there might be a special focusing on sex and love hitting the airwaves sooner than later.
Veteran newswoman Linda Ellerbee, who has done shows before on the network, would host, the Associated Press reports. "I think it's important that something be done," she said.
Is it Nickelodeon's place to teach our children about sex and love? Or has this gone too far?

This is just getting odder and odder isn't it? Page Six is reporting that Jamie Lynn confided in Britney Spears' ex Kevin Federline before she told the rest of her family that she was pregnant. They even go onto say that Kevin is Jamie Lynn's go to phone call when she is in need of some guidance. You think you know a family...
"Kevin knew before Britney that Jamie Lynn is pregnant," a Federline family insider told PageSix.com. "In fact, Britney's [somewhat estranged] mom Lynne, [who has become tight with Kevin in the wake of her troubles with her daughter and grandchildren], told Kevin about it on Monday, [December 17], because Lynne wanted Kevin to be prepared when Britney found out."

Jamie Lynn, who is 16, apparently tells the magazine, which is scheduled to hit newsstands Wednesday, that the baby's father is Casey Aldridge, her "long time" boyfriend whom she met at church. Nickelodeon, which produces her show, Zoey 101, has already released this following statement:
"We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."
