Janet Jackson Used Grief Over Michael Jackson's Death For Movie Role

I can see where actors would have to rely on their own personal experiences to feel a particular emotion for a part. Janet Jackson told Jay Leno that's what she did while filming a sad scene for her new movie, 'Why Did I Get Married Too?' She was filming it when Michael Jackson passed away suddenly.
Here's a clip of Janet's appearance on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno':
Did you see the first 'Why Did I Get Married'? Are you a Tyler Perry fan? This movie is due out April 2.

Hello ladies!
Here's Janet Jackson in her car heading to Cipriani restaurant in London, UK. The singer has a brand new single coming out called 'Nothing' and Jermaine Dupri said they only had a few days to put it together.
We had to do this record in like three days to get it into this movie – it was a last minute thing that her and Tyler [Perry] talked about.”
“I can say this – y’all haven’t heard her like this in a long time.”
The song will be part of Tyler Perry’s 'Why Did I Get Married Too?' soundtrack in which Janet stars. Can't wait to hear it!

Fresh New Trailer: 'Why Did I Get Married Too"
Tyler Perry's latest movie, 'Why Did I Get Married Too' is the sequel to 2007's 'Why Did I Get Married'. It stars Janet Jackson, Tyler Perry, Michael Jai White and more.
A little bit about the film:
Four couples reunite for their annual vacation in order to socialize and to spend time analyzing their marriages. Their intimate week in the Bahamas is disrupted by the arrival of an ex-husband determined to win back his recently remarried wife.
The movie is due out April 2, 2010.
What did you think of the trailer? Looks intense! Did you see the first movie? Are you planning to check out the sequel?
Janet Jackson Makes A Young Fan's Year!

Janet Jackson thrilled a young fan during a recent trip to Mr. Chow restaurant in Knightsbridge. When the girl came up for a picture, Janet let the girl get up close and personal and sit on her lap. Can you imagine how excited she must have been?! So sweet.
The 11-year-old girl had flown over 200 miles to see the singer, who was in the U.K. to perform on TV talent contest The X Factor on Sunday. When the girl said she was a fan of Janet's brother Michael, the star shed a tear and thanked her for coming to visit her.
While we are talking about Janet, take a look at the thumbnails and let me know what you think about her purple eyeshadow. Do you wear the color? How do you think it looks on the singer? I think it's playful and really works.

Janet Jackson Arrives In London
Janet Jackson was seen arriving at Heathrow airport in London, UK. She smiled to the paparazzi as she closely walked behind her security guard.
It is reported that Janet will perform for the grand finale episode of The X-Factor. Have you noticed that ever since Michael Jackson died, Janet is getting a lot of air time? It's like people are trying to get as close to Michael as possible and Janet is the next best thing. She is a wonderful iconic performer in her own right, but it's a little crazy how many bookings she's received after MJ's death. I wonder if she feels taken advantage of...

It Took Janet Jackson Three Months To Admit Michael Jackson Was Dead

Janet Jackson said the realization of her brother, Michael’s, death only hit her three months after his death.
The ‘Make Me’ singer said she had avoided everything that could remind her of her Thriller’ singer brother after he suddenly passed away in June, until she was about to perform at the
MTV Video Music Awards in September, when she saw a huge picture in tribute to him. Janet, 43, said:
“It hit me before I was about to do the performance, and it hit me when we were in rehearsal.
“There was a huge image of him on this screen, and I started to cry. I had to step away.”
She also said that she is continuing to come to terms with the singer’s death but that she feels in future things will get easier.
“You know, a day doesn’t go by where you don’t think about him. It’s always there, in every sense. “But it will get better. It’s not easy, but I know with time it will get easier. But it will never be easy. It’s my brother.”
This is something that everyone can relate to. I remember watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in the theatre last year and hearing:
We seem to have reached the age where life stops giving us things and starts taking them away.
and got chills because that is so true. I'm going to more and more funerals of MY FRIENDS - it's frightening but a natural part of life. At 32, I've buried 4 friends. It's surreal.
Janet Jackson Calls Jermaine Dupri Her "Ex"

I'm guessing one of the problems in Janet Jackson's and Jermaine Dupri's relationship was communication? While people close to Jermaine say the couple never split, Janet said otherwise in an Atlanta radio interview this morning. Janet told the interviewer she typically doesn't stay in contact with ex-boyfriends, but there are some exceptions.
"I'm not the type of girl that stays in touch with your ex like that," Jackson said.
Dupri, however, seems to be an exception. "Jermaine is one of my best friends," she said in a sleepy voice. "I love him to death. We're still connected. We're still good friends. We still talk."
According to Us Weekly, Janet and Jermaine "took a break" after they disagreed about her music career. (Huh? Okay...) Apparently they reunited for Jermaine's birthday party last September, but it sounds like the couple still has significant issues.
"There is a still a lot of love there," a pal close to the pal recently told Us Weekly.
"We're there for one another," Jackson said of Dupri. "I think it will remain that way for the rest of my life."
Well, sometimes it works this way for couples. They were together for eight years.
