Spike TV's 2009 Scream Awards was held at the Greek Theatre over the weekend and there really weren't any surprises. Twilight pretty much was the big winner of the evening. Vampires were absolutely the theme. Cast members from Twilight, True Blood and Vampire Diaries were front and center.

Yeah for True Blood and I guess I need to see 'Drag Me to Hell' since it won Best Horror!

When Megan Fox accepted her award for Best Sci Fi actress, she said,

"I would like to take this moment to actually say something genuine. There have been a lot of false reports concerning how I feel about this movie and I just want to be very clear that I've always felt that I am a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film.

“These movies took me out of obscurity and they gave me a career and I am completely grateful to everyone involved with this franchise."

Guess there is no more drama between Megan and Michael Bay.

Dexter's Michael C. Hall Marries Jennifer Carpenter

Dexter's Michael C. Hall Marries Jennifer Carpenter

... who plays Michael's sister on the show.  This type of story is a great reminder: it's all pretend ;)

Michael's rep revealed that the couple eloped in California on New Year's Eve after quietly dating for a year and a half.  Is this as much of a surprise to you as it is to me?  Well, it wasn't to their co-star, Julie Benz, who play's Michael's wife on Dexter.

I kind of always thought they should date. I
was always saying, ‘You two should go out.’ I felt that there was a
connection between the two of them. They’ve always had a special
relationship,' Benz [said].

'They’re a great couple and great friends to me. I wish them all the best,' Benz told Access. 'I know that they are madly in love.' "

So, just to make sure we're all on the same page: Michael and Jennifer, who play siblings on the show Dexter, have married in real life.  And their co-star, Julie, who plays Michael's wife on the show, wishes them all the best.

Talk about flying under the radar!  Congratulations to the couple; I also wish them all the best!
