Jennifer Connelly Says Family Over Career
Jennifer Connelly is in no rush to line up future projects. The ‘A Beautiful Mind’ actress - who raises sons Kai, 12, and Stellan, six, with husband Paul Bettany – is perfectly content staying home to raise her children after she wraps ‘What’s Wrong With Virginia?’.
“The biggest thing for me is wanting my kids to grow up safely and have happy lives. To me that’s enough. The family is the most important thing to me. I’m very blessed. I have gorgeous, healthy, funny kids and a good husband.
“Becoming a mother has made all the difference in terms of learning to take responsibility for my life. Parenthood changed the way I do everything.”
While both Jennifer and Paul have carved out successful acting careers, neither Kai – whose father is photographer David Dugan – nor Stellan want to follow in their footsteps. She added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper:
“Stellan was saying for a while that he want to be an actor. “But we just went on holiday where we did a lot of snorkeling and now he’s saying he wants to be a marine biologist. Weirdly, at exactly the same age, Kai said he wanted to be a marine biologist too.”
LOL. Right now, my daughter is in the "I want to be a princess" stage. I guess it all changes with age. I think at one point I was vying to be an astronaut... didn't quite turn out that way.

So much is going on this week! Fashion Week has the city abuzz, but the Toronto Film Festival also kicked off this week. Here Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany arrived at the premiere of their movie 'Creation.' This is what the movie is about:
English naturalist Charles Darwin struggles to find a balance between his revolutionary theories on evolution and the relationship with religious wife, whose faith contradicts his work.
Paul plays Charles Darwin while Jennifer plays his wife, Emma Darwin. It seems like a great idea for real-life couples to play a married couple onscreen: they both get to work (without having to travel to different locations) and have something to look back on later.
But I guess the amount of attention the couple gets makes a big difference. We virtually never hear anything about Jennifer and Paul, so rumors about their relationship won't overwhelm the movie. They're a good-looking couple, and Jennifer looks great: understated and elegant.

...to CHEESE! Paul Bettany is completely obsessed with the dairy product.
The ‘Creation’ star’s wife Jennifer Connelly – who he raises two children with - says that although the actor has finally given up smoking, she has failed to dissuade him from taking his favorite dairy food everywhere.
She told Britain’s InStyle magazine: “When we met he smoked a lot and ate a lot of cheese. He still eats a lot of cheese. It’s usually somewhere in his backpack. But he quit smoking. I don’t think it was my influence. Kids will do that to you. You want to stick around and see what happens with them.”
There are worst things to have cravings for right? What's one thing you can't live without? I would say mine is Black Tea Lemonade from Starbucks. I have at least one a day.

Wow! New pictures of Jennifer Connelly??? That is a rarity isn't it? Here she is out with her husband Paul Bettany and son Stellan in New York enjoying a walk together. She's one of my favorite actresses and I think a part of that is because she's completely off the radar.
Also out and about was Jennifer Garner picking up her daughter Violet from school yesterday in Brentwood with new baby, Seraphina. Both her daughter's names are just so beautiful to me. Perfect choices!
