Violet Affleck Keeps The Ducks Entertained
I had to post these. Aren't these the cutest shots ever? Violet Affleck was seen feeding the ducks today at a park pond in Brentwood. If I were Jennifer Garner, I'd be calling and asking for copies for the scrapbook. Little Violet is just too cute for words!
In other Affleck news... Violet's dad, Ben Affleck, is writing and producing The Blade Itself, which is based on a novel by Marcus Sakey. Chris Pine has been tapped to play the lead.
A story of two childhood friends who grow up committing petty crimes together in Chicago. The friends are reunited as adults after growing apart. One of them is forced to make a hard decision to keep secrets from his past quiet.
Ben is currenly still in Boston shooting and directing The Town.
Who is your favorite celebrity baby/child? I think it'll be neat to see what they end up doing when they are older, what career paths they'll take.

Jennifer Garner Takes Violet Out For A Stroll
Jennifer Garner was spotted out on a stroll with Violet on what looks like a chilly afternoon in Boston, Massachusetts. Boston is their home base while Ben shoots 'The Town.'
I can't tell if Violet is one of those toddlers who enjoys riding in a stroller or would prefer to be out walking on her own two feet. Either way, I bet she enjoys spending time with her mommy!

Jennifer Garner Announced As New Frigidaire Brand Ambassador
I was invited to attend a press conference with Jennifer Garner this week but my son was sick and I couldn't go. Instead, I sent one of my fashion writers to take my place. Here is Samantha's round up of the event:
One of Hollywood’s favorite moms, Jennifer Garner, teamed up with Frigidaire on Wednesday to make a public announcement about their efforts to raise funds for Save the Children’s CHANGE program (Creating Healthy, Active, and Nurturing Growing-up Environments).
“I am proud to be the ambassador for the Frigidaire “Make Time for CHANGE” campaign to help give the littlest Americans the best start possible,” said Garner. “There is nothing more important to our future than protecting theirs.”
In conjunction with their launch of 250 new appliances, Frigidaire will donate $1 as part of their $250,000 commitment to the foundation for every person who raises their hand with a pledge to make time for a child at www.frigidaire.com.
Jen looked so great and happy at the press conference. It seems so fitting to see her support a foundation for children’s causes. She seems like such a great mom.

Kirsten Dunst was seen leaving New York City Supreme Court after testifying against a man accused of stealing possessions from her New York hotel.
Also in NYC wasJennifer Garner who was spotted leaving 'The Martha Stewart Show.' Jennifer seems very upbeat; it looks like she enjoyed her time with Martha! She looks very pulled together in her dress and pumps, too. I wonder if they did any cooking?

Jennifer Garner Is A Classic Mom
Jennifer Garner’swants to make sure her children don't just sit in front of a television all day long. The ‘Invention of Lying’ actress promotes a variety of activities for Violet and eight-month-old Seraphina to do alongside her husband Ben Affleck.
Lynda Obst, who produced new movie ‘The Invention of Lying’, revealed:
“Most of the time that I did spend with her when it was off-set, Violet was cooking with her, or reading Jane Austen, or doing one of these remarkable things that Violet tends to do.
“She encourages her kids to be independent. And at the same time not television watchers. Readers. Thinkers. She is kind of old-fashioned. She is a very classic mom.”
Jennifer, 37, admits she struggles to juggle her career with being a mother, but tries her best. Speaking at the Hollywood premiere of the movie, she said:
“Every day, you feel like you are off-balance one way or another. You just take it one day at a time. I don't think anyone has it properly figured out.”
Ricky Gervais - Jennifer’s co-star in the film, which is about a world where nobody lies until one man decides to shake things up – claims being a parent has also affected Jennifer’s vocabulary.
“She is ‘Miss Goody Two Shoes’. When she swears, she says things like 'dang it' and 'darn'. Her favorite swear word is 'rats'. That's not a swear word!”
Oh rats! LOL - we should bring that back.
