Seinfeld Cast Reunites On Entertainment Weekly Cover!

This week’s Entertainment Weekly goes on the set for a Seinfeld reunion with Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), George (Jason Alexander), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and Kramer (Michael Richards) as they join old pal Larry David for the new season of HBO’s cult hit Curb Your Enthusiasm.
I am so excited!!!
But don't call it a reunion - Larry David says it's an anti-reunion.
“It’s the anti-reunion reunion,” says Louis-Dreyfus, “and I’d like to copyright that.” Sums up David: “This is such a perfect way for us to get together again, because it never would have happened otherwise. Never, ever, ever.”
Will there ever be one? Would it ever live up to the hype?
“I gave people no hope whatsoever,” David says of the inevitable reunion question he has been hearing for a decade. “If we had done a real show, it wouldn’t have been as much fun,” he says. “It would’ve been too intense, really, because that particular episode would have to be so good.”
When David approached Seinfeld about a reunion plot on Curb in spring 2008, Seinfeld wasn’t terribly worried about mucking around with the legacy of his beloved nine-season show.
“The idea of working with Larry was just too overwhelmingly appealing to me, and [Curb] is such a great show,” he says. “There was a little part of me that said, ‘Do we really want to tamper?’…But to hell with it. How much damage can you really do?”
I am so glad they are giving it a go! Anyone else itching for the episode to air?
The Complete Seinfeld Cast To Reunite On Finale Of Curb Your Enthusiasm

I'm pretty sure I will burst into flames if the casts of 'Seinfeld' and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' shoot an episode together. I mean, how unbelieveably fantastic would that be!?
Larry David says it's a done deal... and I'm shaking with excitement.
The "Seinfeld" co-creator and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" creator-star says the cast will appear together in the finale of the upcoming seventh season of the HBO comedy series.
It marks the first time in 11 years that Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards have appeared together on screen.
David says the "Seinfeld" stars will appear in five "Curb" episodes during the season in a storyline about the cast reuniting. He says he worked closely with Seinfeld on the show-within-a-show script.
So what about a reunion episode for Seinfeld on its own? No go says Larry.
That's ok! I will take what I can get.
Having Marital Problems? Call Jerry Seinfeld

This could either be hilarious or a huge disaster. But that's the fun of reality TV, isn't it? Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is producing a new reality show called 'The Marriage Ref.'
"Marriage Ref" will revolve around couples who hash out their
disagreements, major and minor, before a panel of comedians and other
celebs. The host of the show, aka the "ref," will make the final call in
settling the couple's dispute, [a producer] said. Producers are in the
process of settling on a comic with Seinfeld-ian sensibilities for the
host role."
Not Jerry himself? Boo!
It is scheduled to air on NBC in March once the winter Olympics are over.
Is this something you would watch?

Star Salaries

What do stars make? A lot, as I'm sure you already knew ;) Yet I still found some of this surprising.
Jerry Seinfeld tops this list of stars with reported earnings of $87 million a year. 'Seinfeld' residuals must still be coming in strong ;)
Will Smith is pretty close behind with $80 million. He gets well for being considered one of the last bankable movie stars!
'American Idol' host Simon Cowell reportedly makes $72 million a year. Whew! I guess he can afford to leave the show if he wants, can't he?
Jennifer Aniston makes $27 million, while Brad Pitt reportedly makes $20 million. I wouldn't have guessed that Brad makes less than Jennifer, but I guess if you're counting 'Friends' residuals, that could make a big difference.
It's a tough field, but it certainly pays well if you make it!

"Seinfeld" Cast Will Reunite!

Now this is must-see TV! The Seinfeld cast will reunite on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm for a multi-episode arc this fall, according to EW. These cameos will be the first time the cast has appeared together since Seinfeld ended its historic run 11 years ago.
The episodes, which are currently shooting in Los Angeles, appear to represent a continuation of David's relationship with the Seinfeld stars."
Will you Seinfeld fans be watching? Would you get HBO to watch it? I don't even need to know the specifics of the storyline to be sure it'll be hilarious!

The 2008 Tribeca Film Festival-Vanity Fair Party

Some of Hollywood's greats came out to the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival-Vanity Party in New York last night. We have Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica, Martha Stewart, Robert DeNiro and Grace Hightower, Iman with David Bowie and the charming Regis Philbin. I just have to say Iman looked amazing and it's pretty obvious that she and Regis made some kind of weird pact with the devil to NOT age. :) In case you were wondering she'll be 53 this July.

Jerry Seinfeld Not Hurt In Car Crash

Wow. Jerry Seinfeld is definitely one lucky guy! His brakes failed and his vintage car rolled over...but he managed to walk away unhurt. The police chief, Todd Sarris explained the situation.
The 53-year-old reportedly tried the emergency brake and - “ when that failed - “ swerved to keep the vehicle from careening into an intersection.
The two-door 1967 Fiat BTM flipped over before coming to a halt just yards from the highway, Sarris said, adding that Seinfeld's maneuver "probably avoided a very serious accident."
Jerry didn't require any medical treatment at all after the accident. That's AMAZING! I'm so glad nobody was hurt. Oh, and just for the record, Jerry hadn't been drinking. This was a non-alcohol related incident.
