9 months pregnant and barely able to walk, Jessica Alba visited the farmer’s market alongside fiance, Cash Warren. Onlookers say that Jessica looked very uncomfortable. I say try carring around an extra 25-45 pounds of flesh in the heat of the summer. Any day now Jess!

I got an email from the company that created Jessica Alba’s baby shower invitations asking me if I wanted to post what they did for her. Naturally, I said YES! Jessica actually had two invitations made up for guests. The second one was accompanied by a little tea cup. How cute! I love how the address isn’t included on the actual invite. I suppose that makes sense when you are a celebrity. It’s all very James Bond-ish. This invite will self destruct in 10 seconds.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren were spotted leaving the Flower store in Studio City this past weekend. Jessica has consistently looked stylish and cute her entire pregnancy. I find that amazing for some reason.

Did anyone ever watch, “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy”? There’s a very funny line in that movie said by Steve Carell (of course) about where they bought their suits and Steve says, “the toilet store?” and for some reason whenever I see places just called, the Flower store, or the Rug store, or the Suit shop, I giggle. Just thought I’d share that with you all.

Did everyone get this feeling towards the end of their pregnancy?  Jessica Alba is claiming that she is going crazy with last minute adjustments and things aren’t happening fast enough. People Magazine reports:

“I’m just trying to get my house ready before the baby comes,” Alba, 26, said Wednesday night at PEOPLE’s book party for Healthy Child Healthy World author Christopher Gavigan. “It’s kind of hectic, it’s getting close and the house isn’t even ready yet.”

Lucky for Jessica, she didn’t take on any new projects so she has the time to put into it all.

“I’m not working so it’s been a good place to put all my energy so it’s been a nice distraction,” she said at the event at Lucques restaurant in West Hollywood. “I’m used to having to be somewhere all the time, and it’s kind of the first time in my life where I really haven’t been working in a while, and now it’s just about the baby being healthy, the house being ready, and nesting, it’s really different. It’s cool – I feel like I’m fully absorbing the whole experience.

During her baby shower, Jessica Alba gave out leather bracelets that read “life, love, health, et cetera” and guests were told not to remove it until after the baby was born. Did you do something like this for your shower? I think the most we did was Bingo. It’s a really cute concept though that connects the party members to the actual birth in a really special way. The NY Post reports:

WHO knew Jessica Alba was so superstitious? During the baby shower for the heavily pregnant “Fantastic Four” actress at Ever After Tea Shop in Studio City last week, guests were asked to don leather bracelets before saying a “life, love, health, et cetera” prayer, according to one spy. The guests, including Kim Kardashian and Rashida Jones, were then told they were not allowed to take off the bracelets until the baby was born. Alba and fiancé Cash Warren are said to be expecting a girl.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren were spotted walking around Beverly Hills and from the look of it Jessica wasn’t too happy about being photographed. I can tell you right now if I were that far along and a camera got near me I would seriously start to growl. At the end of pregnancy you’re tired, uncomfortable and ready for that baby to show up. I’m thinking Jessica is starting to feel that way as well.

Pregnant Jessica Alba has made a heart disease patient’s dream come true by becoming her “best friend for the day”. Jessica took Alina to a salon to get a makeover and even purchased a friendship necklace for the little girl all with the help of the Kids Wish Network.

The mother of Alina Kent, who suffers from the potentially fatal condition mitral valve regurgitation, wrote to the Kids Wish Network last year (07) explaining how her daughter dreamed of being an actress, like her idol Alba. The organization contacted Alba and arranged for Adina and her mother Vina to fly to Los Angeles and spend a day with the star.

How very nice of her! The few hours that Jessica took out of her schedule has meant the world to Alina. She told Star Magazine:

“I wanted to meet Jessica because I really look up to her. I was so excited when I first saw her, I was jumping up and down. She was everything I thought’s she’d be and more. She was like the big sister I’ve always wanted.”
