Jessica Biel Talks About Dealing With Crushes And Extraterrestrial Life
Did you know Jessica Biel has a new movie coming out? It's a little hard to tell: she's starring in the new animated movie, 'Planet 51,' as a green alien. Apparently, Jessica's character has a crush on someone, but it doesn't go well. Jessica told Entertainment Tonight she could relate.
"Probably every crush I ever had was something awkward like [in the movie]," Jessica tells ET. "It's hard to ask people out. It's hard when you really care about somebody -- you don't want to be rejected. I completely understand that. I think everyone has gone through some sort of rejection in that sense, and it's a bit of an ego blow. … I have been rejected plenty of times, my friend. Plenty."
The joys of the dating scene...
Jessica also talked about the theme behind the movie 'Planet 51' and whether or not she thought there was life on other planets. (The movie is about an human astronaut who lands on another planet only to find that it's populated by beings terrified of an alien invasion).
"It's about not having a fear of something you don't know about," says Jessica about the film's theme, "and being non-judgmental about someone who's different from you, or something that's changing in your life."
And yes, she thinks there's something "out there."
"Our universe is so expansive, I think it's kind of silly to think that we're the only beings experiencing life here."

Now we know why Jessica Biel and Jennifer Garner were out having dinner the other night. Jessica shares her "purely platonic thing" for Jennifer.
"My girl crush is Jen Garner at the moment (but) here's the thing with girl crushes: it's more of a respect thing. It's like, you're beautiful, you're cool, you look and seem like somebody I would want to hang out with and your career is awesome."

Justin Timberlake And Jessica Biel - Friends With Benefits
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are reportedly just “friends with benefits”.
The ‘SexyBack’ singer – who is rumored to have split from the stunning actress in September after two-and-a-half years together – has decided he still wants Jessica involved in his life so makes sure they meet regularly.
"Justin was very clear with Jessica that he didn't want to be in a serious relationship with her anymore where he wasn't able to date other people. Jessica took the news very hard, but once she calmed down and they started talking again, he convinced her to stay friends who hook up, without all the pressure of a relationship."
"Justin gets the best of both worlds. He doesn't have to lose Jess as a lover or a friend, but he's free to explore other relationships."
It was reported the couple split because Justin was not ready to make a commitment and settle down.

Jessica Biel's Next Project
Clearly, Jessica Biel doesn't want to get typecast. Good for her! She's already lined up her next project after 'The A-Team' is finished shooting, and while you could call it an action movie, it's definitely not the same type of action.
The actress is attached to star in and produce rookie screenwriter Julia Brownell's original screenplay "F***ing Engaged," a raunchy comedy about a couple who make a pact to have sex every day leading to their wedding so they don't turn into their crusty old parents.
That premise has the potential to be hilarious or be a very, um, adult movie. If they go the comedy route (and I'm guessing that's where Jessica, as a producer, would want it to go), it might be worth seeing. Interested?

Jessica Biel Shooting 'The A-Team'
I don't quite know why I feel this way just based on viewing these pictures, but I have a hunch Jessica Biel has found her niche as an action star. Jessica will be Carissa Sosa on the big screen re-make of 'The A-Team,' and she shared some of her character's history with Entertainment Tonight.
Once upon a time, Jessica and Bradley's [Cooper] characters were a couple, but that is in the past, and Jessica explains, "We sort of leave it kind of to the imagination as to where it could go at the end of the film. We give you a little hint about who did who wrong, but I think we both feel that we're right."
This film has quite a cast, including Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson. It'll be interesting to see what they do. Wouldn't it be hilarious if they had Mr. T do a cameo of some sort?

Jessica Biel Talks 'A Team'
Will it be campy like the series? Should we expect to see a lot of gold chains? Funny disguises? Mohawks?
Jessica Biel says this movie is a different sort of interpretation and very much its own story.
"I think it will be a little bit similar here and there but we really have our own tone going on," she said. "It’s a little bit less campy than the actual show and a little bit more serious action and fighting sequences but still with lots of humor. Lots and lots of humor."
What about cameos? Who will make a special appearance? We all want to know if Mr. T is coming back right?
"I don’t know about [possible cameos] actually. Up to my knowledge at this point no," she said, adding that she'd like to see Mr. T play some kind of role. "That would be great. I can't imagine that people wouldn’t want to see him. When you think of A-Team you think of Mr. T, so that'd be great. I don’t know about it though."
She knows about it... just being quiet. :)
