Ashlee Simpson Sticks Up for Jessica
When Ashlee Simpson got news that the media was back to criticizing her older sister Jessica Simpson because of her fluctuating weight, Ashlee didn't waste any time letting the media know how she felt.
"It's disgusting that people would say those things. My sister has an incredible body," says the younger Simpson, 25. "I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she's one sexy lady."
This is not the first time that Jessica has been criticized for her weight.
"In October, an NFL cartoon depicted Dallas Cowboys starter Marion Barber snorting, "Man, I still can't believe Tony [Romo] dated Jessica Simpson, even AFTER she blew up bigger than Flozell Adams!"
The cartoon created quite the stir and Fox and NFL sponsor Burger King issued a statement of apology later on for the sketch.
To be honest I've never really noticed Jessica's weight gain and loss. It's not like she was larger than any normal woman! Do you think the media is too harsh on Jessica?

Jessica Simpson Lashes Out At 'Melrose Place'
I like seeing how close Jessica and Ashlee Simpson seem to be! While Ashlee reportedly is struggling with being let go from the show, Jessica let her feelings about 'Melrose Place' be known on twitter.

Meanwhile, anonymous "set insiders" gave Us Weekly the scoop on why Ashlee was let go from the show.
"They hired her because they needed a good name to help create buzz," a set insider told Us Weekly. "But she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible."
Seconds another source: "She's the worst actress, but nobody will tell her."
Ouch. Yet more "sources" tell Us Weekly that Ashley is focusing on acting because it offers more "consistency," so she can be closer to Bronx.

Jessica Simpson Reveals Her Dream Man
Jessica Simpson gave Extra some insight into what her perfect man's qualities are.
"I definitely love a spiritual man -- somebody that is going to always inspire me."
"I don't want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men ... people that will always keep me intrigued."
"And, you know, I love artistic men -- somebody that really understands their art,"
"I like a confident man,"
Sounds pretty reasonable, right? I think she deserves some happiness in her life. She needs a good guy who will be good to her. Is there anyone you can envision her being a good match with?
Jessica also shared that traveling for her VH1 show The Price of Beauty right after her breakup was a good thing.
"I couldn't have had this journey at a better time in my life -- to seek out beauty, to seek out confidence, and to seek out the power of a woman."
She's really comfortable with herself and is over all of the negative stories written about her.
"It really is about who I am and what I want to become, and what's going to make the best version of myself," she says. "What people say about me... all that stuff is not really important."

Jessica Simpson Back In LA Showing Off A Henna Tattoo
Jessica Simpson spent the weekend in Mumbai where she filmed her new fashion reality show, 'The Price of Beauty'. While in the country, the singer got a beautiful henna tattoo done on her left hand.
Jessica spent time with Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia who threw a lavish party at Vie Lounge and had an artist available to work with the turmeric paste. Did you know henna tattoos are supposed to bring good luck?
While filming, sources say Jessica also sported a 'bindi dot'.
Sources at the chic venue said: 'Jessica came into Vie Longe showing off a traditional 'bindi dot', which Indian women wear as a style statement.
'Hers was shaped like a goddess's spear or trident, and painted in holy vermilion, which is really fashionable with young Indian women.
'She looked absolutely stunning in a turquoise sari. Looking that good she fitted right in with India's fashion elite at the party.'
I have to admit... I am VERY excited to see this show! In America, it's all about the Hollywood standard. I would love to see what each country considers as beautiful.

Jessica Simpson and Gerard Butler are Hollywood's newest item according to a source at The NY Post. The pair was spotted on a date at Soho House Tuesday night alongside friends including Ken Paves.
"They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours," a spy told Page Six. "They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken."
