Jessica Simpson And Tony Romo Broke Up

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 at 2:06 pm

What?!? Last thing I knew we were hearing marriage rumors and now all of a sudden people are saying that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have broken up. Tony was in Illinois partying with college buddies and he told them that he and Jess were over.

“They’re broken up,” according to a pal of the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. “He told us they broke up and that was that. We’re guys so we didn’t talk about it much.”

They went out to a club and Tony was surrounded by girls all night long.

“He was surrounded by girls,” according to an eyewitness. “We had to restrain some who forcibly tried to make their way to his table. He zeroed in on one blonde all night. That blonde wasn’t Jessica Simpson.”

Jessica Simpson Wants To Beat Ashlee Simpson Down The Aisle

Thursday, May 8th, 2008 at 9:46 am

jessica simpson wants to get married

Jessica Simpson is ready to tie the knot with Tony Romo. Ashlee Simpson’s upcoming marriage to Pete Wentz has Jessica anxious to get on with it. I’m sure with sisters there’s always a little bit of sibling rivalry…sources are reporting that Jessica wants to steal the spotlight back from Ashlee.

“(Jessica would) love nothing more than to get married before Ashlee. It upsets her that her little sister will be married and she won’t. She gets jealous when Ash gets more attention.”

Jessica would even be into a Vegas wedding:

“She’s been showing him rings in magazines. She tells him what she likes, and she does it right in front of his friends, too, so it’s really awkward. She has been joking to friends that she should take Tony to Vegas, get him drunk and drag him to the Little White Wedding Chapel.”

And if Tony doesn’t propose soon, she might just take matters into her own hands:

“She knows he can’t say no to her.”

Jessica Simpson Defends Her Movie Career

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008 at 9:34 am

simpson flop movie4

Jessica Simpson is tired of people telling her that her movies flop at the box office. They all don’t do that bad! In fact, Jessica recently pointed out that Dukes of Hazzards opened with $30 million and Employee of the Month at least made the money back that was needed to create it. That’s far from flop standards if you ask her.

“For people to say (movie) Employee of The Month was a flop is ludicrous. It made the money back - that’s not a flop. For people to say The Dukes of Hazzard was a flop - it opened at $30 million. If these movies are flops, why would I still make them?”

Major Movie Star… now that’s a different story. Jessica really needs a good script to come her way. Too bad she can’t be the love interest in a summer blockbuster. That would most certainly turn this perception around for her.

President Bush Wants To Use The Jessica Simpson Jinx

Thursday, May 1st, 2008 at 10:37 am

jessica simpson jinx

Hahaha, so I guess President Bush follows sports/entertainment enough to know about the “Jessica Simpson jinx.” Remember that the Dallas Cowboys fans blamed her for anything Tony Romo ever did wrong on the field and then called it her jinx? Well President Bush made a joke off of that when he spoke in front of the New York Giants at the White House.

“We’re going to send Jessica Simpson to the Democrat National Convention.”

For some reason I find it hilarious that the President even knows who Jessica is!

Jessica Simpson Is Happy To Be Herself Again

We all saw the transformation Jessica Simpson went through while dating John Mayer. And in this month’s Glamour, she admits to it saying she felt the need to be more artsy.  Us Magazine has the break down.

“He reintroduced me to myself,” Simpson says. “I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date. Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again,” she adds.

The magazine also brought up the football jinx rumor which Jessica says is just untrue.

“Everybody takes everything out on me! But that was ludicrous,” she says. “I don’t understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No.”

Ludicrous? And what about hearing Tony had a crush on her before they met. Jessica thought that was GREAT since she found Tony very attractive.

“My family and I were watching a Cowboys game … and — Tony would die if I told you this — but [on TV there was a story] about him,” she says. “They said his celebrity dream crush was Jessica Simpson.

“My family was like, ‘Did you just hear that?’” she goes on. “His picture came up, and I’m like, ‘He’s really cute.’ Then I heard [that I was his crush], and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’”

Thankfully, Papa Joe was introduced to Tony a few years later and eventually emailed Jessica’s father.

“Tony e-mailed my dad, ‘Cute date.’ My dad was like, ‘Look what Tony said,’ Simpson says. “I said, ‘Give him my e-mail address. We’ll see if he’s good with words.’ Then he e-mailed me, and we flirted over e-mail and on the phone.”

She says they got to know each other “by talking, which I think is the best way.”

First date? Just like anyone else, Jessica felt nervous and excited at the same time.

“I had butterflies that you would not imagine. I wanted to puke in the cup holder … It took me forever to put together an outfit!”

He tried to kiss her on their first date.

“I was taken aback…. The fact that this guy, on our first date, in the first 10 minutes of dinner, wanted to lean over the table and say, ‘This is my girl, and I want to kiss her’ — our first kiss in front of everybody — was awesome,” she says.

Jessica Simpson Isn’t A Diva

Monday, April 21st, 2008 at 12:43 pm

Jessica-Simpson-no-makeup-april21

It really does seem like Jessica Simpson dresses up or down according to who she’s dating at the moment. Right now the rags are reporting that Tony Romo is responsible for Jessica’s more casual look. He likes his women low-key.

“Gone are the days of Jessica having her hair and makeup people on call 24/7. She always worried about how she looked. Now she knows she can dress the way she wants and choose not to wear makeup and (Tony will) still love her just as much.”

Tony actually prefers Jessica dressed down.

“He’s more attracted to her when she’s casually dressed with her hair hanging around her shoulders, than when she’s carefully coiffed and dressed to the nines.”

Sources say that Jessica is finally comfortable enough with Tony that she feels she can just be herself.

“She hates trying to look sexy all the time. Jess is a down-home girl on the inside.”

Jessica definitely used to seem more into the whole red carpet scene back in the day when she was with Nick. It’s been interesting watching her style change over the years. Have you ever changed your look for a guy?
