Celebrities Attend The 16th Annual Race To Erase MS Dinner
Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Jewel, Angie Harmon, Kristin Cavallari, Giuliana Rancic, Kim Kardashian, Amanda Bynes, Anne Heche, and Melissa George each walked the red carpet for The 16th annual Race to erase MS held at the Hyatt Regency in Century Plaza.

Jewel Shopping At The Grove
Singer Jewel was shopping at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon and unfortunately has to still use a cane to get around. From all the information I've read, it sounds like she'll be using it for awhile and needs to complete one more surgery. Ugh... "Dancing with the Stars" is really going through... Stars.
This season is the craziest one yet! All these injuries. But despite her pain, Jewel is still as happy and sweet as can be.

Celebrities Attend The Launch Of Latisse
Brooke Shields, Mandy Moore, Angie Harmon, Jewel, and Marisa Tomei all attended the launch party for 'Latisse' in LA yesterday afternoon. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Can we TALK about this PRODUCT!?
It's the first FDA approved lash grower and I am extremely interested! It's by prescription only so we all can't run to our local drug store and start shopping.
But I have to ask, who is going to try it out?

Jewel Having Lunch At The Ivy
Ahhh... Poor Jewel.
Here's singer/song writer Jewel smiling and posing for photographers after having lunch at The Ivy in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon. I feel so bad for her... She worked so hard for Dancing with the Stars and ended up seriously injuring herself (along with many others) and now she has to walk around with a crutch and doesn't even have a chance to be on the show.
I guess it just proves that dancing IS a real sport which require serious determination, skill and stamina.

Celebrities Attend Star Magazine Event Celebrating 'Young Hollywood' Issue
You know you're getting old when you don't recognize HALF of the people who attend a "Young Hollywood" event. There were 3 or 4 pages worth of pictures, and these are the few I knew. Guess I have to hire my 14 year old cousin for a few days to get me back on track.
Star Magazine threw an event at the Apple Restaurant & Lounge to promote their Young Hollywood issue and the red carpet was filled with a slew of celebrity hopefuls. Here are the people INO covers:

Is Holly Madison Joining Dancing With The Stars?
Holly Madison meant business when she said she was going to focus on her career after ending her four-month romance with Criss Angel (which occurred on the heels of her ending her longterm relationship with Hugh Hefner). Although ABC has no official comment, Us Weekly is reporting that Holly is replacing Jewel on Dancing with the Stars.
Friend, and former Girl Next Door co-star Bridget Marquardt, seemed to confirm the news to In Touch.
'Holly just got on Dancing With the Stars — it airs on Monday!' her GND co-star Bridget Marquardt told In Touch while promoting her new Travel Channel show Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches. 'I don’t know who Holly’s replacing or what happened, but she’s there
trying to learn her dance. Of course she’s upset over her breakup, she
really liked him a lot, obviously, but I think going on Dancing With the Stars is perfect timing. It’s perfect for her!' "
Jewel blogged last week that she had developed tendonitis and wasn't sure if she would be able to dance.
Talk about life in the fast lane! Last October, Holly was wearing a key to the Playboy Mansion around her neck (see main picture above), by December (or was it January?) she was moving to Las Vegas to be with then-boyfriend Criss Angel, in February she's returned to Los Angeles, and in March she's rumored to be a contestant on a popular major network show. Whew!

Jewel May Already Be Out Of Dancing With The Stars
Singer Jewel may already be out of Dancing with the Stars! She blogged today about a knee problem she has developed that may keep her from dancing at all.
Well, I feel kinda bummed today.
I guess I really over did it
on the rehearsal front! My knees have been hurting so badly that I
finally broke down and talked to Ty's [Murray, her husband] knee doctor yesterday. He said I
have tendonitis in my knees and that I have to start a course of
medicine to try and bring the swelling down."
I've heard about how much weight the contestants lose from all the dancing, but perhaps they do a little too much?
Ty warned me I was over doing it, and now he got a big ol' 'I told you
so' in. The worst part is that I can't rehearse for the next couple
days. It was just so fun to dance 8 hours a day- especially considering
I only had 3 weeks to cram not only for my first dance- cha cha, but to
learn the fundamentals of about 6 other dances that I will have to know."
Eight. Hours. A. Day. Yes, that sounds like a trifle too much for an amateur. Maybe our expectations have become too high for the contestants!
Hopefully Jewel will be able to heal and participate this season. It would be really awful to do all this work and not even make it on the air!
