Selena Gomez Films Ramona And Beezus
Did you read the 'Ramona Quimby' books by Beverly Cleary when you were younger? Those books were fantastic! According to IMDb, Joey King has been cast to play Ramona, while Selena Gomez has been cast to play Beezus. Bridget Moynahan has been cast to play their mother, Dorothy Quimby.
It sounds like the movie is adapted on the series as a whole, given this plot description:
Follows the misadventures of young grade schooler Ramona Quimby from Beverly Cleary's popular children's book series."
Either way, I think this is a great series to adapt to the big screen! It looks like here they're filming a wedding scene.
