Katie "Jordan" Price was so incredibly moved after watching a documentary about children in Bulgaria that she convinced hubby Peter Andre they should adopt a baby.

“We want to be able to help a child to have a better life.

The programme moved me to tears. So many babies who are born with disabilities find it hard to find adoptive parents – no one wants them.

So Pete and I have been to see a lawyer about adopting a baby from abroad.”

The process could take as long as 18 months, but the couple is willing to wait.

A friend says, “She’s not an emotional person, but was traumatised by what she saw. It made her determined.”

They may take a lot of crap for their media image, but this couple truly does seem like they're caring parents. I love seeing celebrities use their good fortune to help others, especially children.

Katie "Jordan," Price and Peter Andre sued News of the World after the publication ran a story with bad parenting allegations and a supposed interview with their former nanny. And they won! So what is the happy couple going to do with the proceeds? They're going to give half to charity (NSPCC and Vision Charity) and the other half will go into trust funds for their three children.

The paper had claimed that Katie and Peter are "reckless parents" and endangered the health of their kids. Katie spoke out after the trial to say,

"Pete and I love our kids and would do anything for them.

We came here today to see that justice was done and that our names were cleared.

Now that the paper has accepted the story wasn't true, apologised to us, and paid us damages and our costs, we believe the record has been set straight and our names have been cleared."

It must have been so awful for them to have heard those terrible allegations, but at least they managed to turn the situation into something positive by clearing their name and giving a substantial amount of money to charity.

 

Katie Price, Peter Andres and their little Princess Tiaamii were spotted out doing a little shopping. Afterwards the couple had to take their daughter to the doctor because she has chickenpox. Poor thing!Check out what my cyber friends are writing about.

Katie "Jordan" Price attended a launch for her new book, Mermaids and Pirates, at Harrod's earlier today. This woman never fails to entertain with the outfits she wears to events. I get that she's following the theme of her book, but I just can't believe that she actually dressed up as a mermaid! Anyone else remember her Wonder Woman costume? It's like every day is Halloween for Katie.WENN

Katie Price was seen out shopping in London the other day on Sloane Street.  I know what you're all thinking right now...why is Katie's skin a color not found in nature?  I thought the same thing when I first came across this set of pictures.  But click on the thumbnails, she looks a thousand times less orange in the photographs of her out on the street.  So maybe it was just really bad lighting in the store!

Jordan aka Katie Price for some reason decided to dress up like Wonder Woman crossed with a dominatrix at the signing of her new book, "Pushed To The Limits". She's nuts... but successful.  I mean look at what she's wearing to a book singing and yet she has written three books successfully. I'd like to know who's buying them? If anyone has read one of her books let me know what you thought about it.In other news, LOVE the darker hair on her.

Katie Price, a.k.a. Jordan, looks almost unrecognizable in this photo shoot for You Magazine. I really like her in these 40's style glam housewife clothes!She was also interviewed for the magazine, and tells them that she wants 6 or 7 children and may want to adopt a disabled child,

"It's not that I want a disabled child," she explains, "it's that I'm not frightened."

On her son Harvey (now five) who is autistic, has septo-optic dysplasia, and is blind,

"You just have to deal with it," she says matter-of-factly. "One injection a day, medicine three times a day. It's drummed into me. I don't think there's anything wrong with him, because he was born that way, and that's the way he's meant to be. He's just unique."

Jordan, a.k.a Katie Price, and her husband Peter Andre have finally named their daughter! The couple who already have a son together, Andre Junior, have named their daughter Bunny. Yes, Bunny Andre, is the new name! Guess it's just another name to add to the list of unusual celebrity baby names. Peter had said when their daughter was first born,

"We haven't decided on a name yet because we want to see what she looks like over the next few days."

So, I'm guessing she looks like a bunny? I kid, I kid :P
