Nooooo, I love Jordin Sparks! The American Idol singer has been forced to cancel three shows over the past weekend because of something called an acute vocal cord hemorrhage. Don't ask me what that is, but it doesn't sound good. She was set to open for Alicia Keys at Penn State last night, but that didn't happen.

"Because of the risk of permanent vocal cord damage, Sparks has been ordered to strict vocal rest and will not be able to perform anywhere until her condition improves," said a spokesman for the arena at Penn State.

In the worst cases, the condition requires surgery on the vocal cords. Yikes! Fingers crossed for Jordin to get well soon!

Vanessa Williams as usual looked gorgeous on the red carpet of the "39th Annual NAACP Image Awards" in Los Angeles. Her dress is beautiful and what really makes it perfect is that black one sided shoulder strap. Love it. Did you know, Ms. Williams will be turning 45 this March 18th? I gotta say she still looks amazing.Also in attendance was American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. The floor length brown dress is classic and simple without being too old. American Idol winner Jordin Sparks was all smiles as she left "The Morning Show" studios after an appearance. I am so happy that she is making the rounds promoting her music. She really does have a beautiful voice AND she is so young!! What do you think about her yellow and black dress? I can't decide if I like it or not. I think the pattern might be throwing me off, though the cut is very nice.

I really don't know where to begin... nicely. So let's just start with the facts. The 30th Annual Kennedy Center Honors gala was held at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC and a variety of celebrities came out for the party. Ranging from Ciara to Aretha Franklin, these ladies brought an interesting mix to the affair. Who was on point? Who needed a little help in the dress selection department?In other news, while getting my nails done yesterday the place had a movie on called Terror Peak which starred Lynda Carter as the mom. It was THE WORST movie I've ever seen. And I'm not just trying to be over dramatic. I literally mean THE worst movie. I had to ask to see the cover because I couldn't believe what I was watching. People were falling onto rocks and the mattress would be in the shot. Helicopter rides were shot with a still picture behind it. It was SOOO obvious the plane wasn't moving. We were all laughing! Fake lava looked like hand lotion dripping from caves. And Lynda Carter was in IT! After my nails were long dry, I kept on going because I had to see how the thing ended. I know what my stocking stuffer is going to be this year! :)WENNWENN
