Kate Beckinsale along with husband Len Wiseman and daughter Lilly went to Dustin Hoffman's July 4th beach party. Can someone please place the man sitting next to Len for me? It's driving me CRAZY that I can't remember his name.

Kate Beckinsale, Len Wiseman, daughter Lily, and her friend enjoyed a hot afternoon in Brentwood getting some ice cream and walking around. Normally Kate wears all black, but this time she softened up her look with a long flowy floral dress and pink bow accent. Personally I love it.

During a car chase where the paparazzi were attempting to get photos of Kate Beckinsale and her family, the actress ran out of gas. Odds are Kate didn't want to stop because she knew that the paps would just snap away at the gas station. So she attempted to make it home and failed.

When Kate pulled the car over, The Underworld star got out of the car and asked the photographers for help. In the end, they family was thankful they were there!

Wiseman admitted to one snapper:

"(This is) the one time we’re actually really glad you’re following us. Can you help us get some gas? We just ran out."

I think it's great once an actress is big enough she can refuse to do a naked scene since EVERY movie seems to have one these days. Kate Beckinsale would not bare her bottom on a shower scene for her latest film, Whiteout.

Instead, the studio had to hire a woman to stand in for her at the rate of $2,000 a day. I'm not sure anyone would want to see mine, but for $2,000 it's a chance I am willing to take.

"The script called for her character to be filmed nude in a shower, focusing in on her bottom and thighs. Kate insisted on a double being hired. She was quite open on the set about not liking her body and said she particularly loathed her bottom and was not comfortable baring it."

Celebrities attended the 2008 Raisa Gorbachev Foundation Party held at the Stud House in Hampton Court over the weekend. Kate Beckinsale joined Hugh Grant, Mary J. Blige, Kevin Spacey, and Benicio Del Toro on the red carpet. Quite the hodgepodge of celebs isn't it?

Now there is an excuse for not cooking that I need to try. :) Kate Beckinsale says she's no good in the kitchen because she's too good at sex!

“I’m the worst wife in the cooking department. I always thought you can’t be good at food and sex, but you can always order the food in. I’d rather he didn’t order in the sex.”

She cracks me up!!! I know we've had a lot of Kate quotes today, but some of the things she says are too good NOT to post! What's your best excuse for not pulling together a good meal?

Who doesn't joke like this? My daughter is scheduled to wed about 6 of the boys I know from town. Kate Beckinsale and Victoria Beckham are hoping that their children will get along and eventually date. Since it's inevitable , Kate says it might as well be someone she knows and approves of. Good luck Kate! :)

"I am dreading the day Lily brings home a boy. But she and the Beckham boys get on really well. So if she did have to have a boyfriend, then I suppose Brooklyn would get my seal of approval."

The gorgeous Kate Beckinsale and her daughter were spotted having fun at the beach in Malibu the other day. What I find amusing is the fact that even though Kate's at the beach IN the sand she still has on platform shoes. Do any of you wear platforms to the beach or are you strictly flip-flops? I'm a flat shoe kind of girl, myself.
