Kate Gosselin Says She Hasn't Received Money From Jon
And here we go. Yesterday, Jon Gosselin's attorney said Jon had returned the money (although he declined to say the exact dollar amount) to their joint banking account. Well, Kate's attorney said they haven't received the money.
So far only $28,500 has been returned, says Kate's lawyer, but at 1:23 p.m. he received an email from Jon's Pennsylvania attorney saying he had the remaining $152,000 he owes.
"We still haven't had that money wired to us," he told PEOPLE. "I have no doubt Jon's lawyer is making an accurate representation but I'm just waiting."
Kate's attorney said his client was only ordered to account for money she had spent.
"Kate has complied with the court order in advance of the date," he says, noting the reality mom was not ordered to return any money.
So much for keeping things private. In other news, Jon's rep denied that he was considering competing on either 'Survivor' or 'The Amazing Race.'

'Jon & Kate Plus 8' Goes Off The Air
I guess Jon Gosselin finally got what he wanted after all. After demanding the filming stop for 'John & Kate Plus 8' the show is now going to go off the air in mid to late November since all filming has stopped.
"They will eke out what they can in terms of more shows," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. "Obviously they are not shooting anymore so they are taking what they have and seeing how many more episodes they can get out of it."
Even if Jon decides at the last minute that filming is okay to be resumed he will not play a large part in the show, as previously planned. This is hard times for Kate Gosselin since the show is how she plans to support her children.
This is all just becoming one big mess. Are you going to miss watching the eight Gosselin kids on television or is this really the best thing for them right now?
Did Jon Gosselin Hack Into Kate's Email Account? PLUS TLC Sues Jon
As if Jon and Kate Gosselin need another problem to add to their overflowing plate, today People Magazine is reporting more downright dirty drama. Stephanie Santoro, the Gosselin babysitter who claims to have slept with Jon in the couple's home, is now saying that Kate's email, phone records and online bank accounts were hacked into by the father of 8!!
Kate released a statement saying that she is disturbed by Stephanie Santoro's allegations.
"Ms. Gosselin is carefully considering all of her legal options regarding this matter, and she will pursue them if and when the time is right," said the statement released by Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, her Philadelphia law firm.
Jon's lawyer naturally came to his client's defense claiming the former babysitter is lying.
"I spoke with him today concerning this statement made by Stephanie and he unequivocally told me that he's never illegally invaded Kate's electronic privacy in any way," says his attorney, Mark Heller. "He also finds it a little disappointing that Kate would give credence to an uncorroborated statement made by an individual who clearly has a motivation to tell stories about Jon that might result in financial [compensation]."
If Jon didn't hack into Kate's accounts, this was all a terrible mistake. However, if Jon DID hack into her email, he can't use anything he found now because everyone will know Stephanie was telling the truth. Either way, this family needs therapy.
UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that TLC is suing Jon for appearing on other shows and receiving money for the interview. Two can play this game I suppose.
TLC is dropping the legal hammer on Jon Gosselin -- filing a lawsuit against the guy for breaching his contract on "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
In the suit, filed Friday in Maryland, the network claims Jon was contracted to be an "exclusive" employee -- but broke his deal when he began taking money to appear on other shows and talking about "Jon & Kate" without proper permission.
You don't play hardball unless you have the resources to be in it until the very end. My guess is Jon will allow the cameras back into him home and quietly settle down. I'm sure he doesn't want to lose everything! Even if TLC never actually gets a settlement from Jon, they will milk him dry of all his money as he tries to keep up with legal fees alone.

Update: Judge Orders Jon And Kate Gosselin To Come To An Agreement
Well, the showdown between Jon and Kate Gosselin with the judge is over: for today. According to reports, they first met with an arbitrator, were unable to come to a resolution, and went before the judge.
According to a court source, Judge Arthur Tilson told the couple he wants the money that's been taken out of the joint account to be returned immediately.
Then he wants them to give mediation another try. The judge reportedly told the couple he's willing to sign off on whatever agreement they work out with a arbitrator as long as it's in the children's best interests. He also reportedly told them to keep things "private" and "amicable."
Apparently, while Kate is claiming that Jon withdrew $230,000 out of their joint account, Jon denies the withdrawal was "improper" and claims that Kate withdrew $60,000.
Jon and Kate are due back in court on October 26, and the judge told them that that hearing would be open to the public. Think he's trying to get them to behave?
Update: According to TMZ, Jon was ordered to repay $180,000 by October 26 or appear for contempt proceedings.

Jon Gosselin Allows TV Show To Film Twins' Birthday Party
My stomach turns when I think of the poor Gosselin kids. Jon Gosselin has struck a deal with a TV show to film twins' Cara and Maddy's birthday party today.
We're told Jon has struck a deal with a TV show to allow it to film his kids' birthday party today -- this is the same Jon who doesn't want his kids filmed on "Kate Plus 8."
To that, Kate's lawyer, Mark Momjian, tells TMZ "I've never seen a greater hallmark for hypocrisy personified."

Entertainment Tonight has already announced on their website that they will have cameras at the Gosselin home to record Jon's arrival. They are going to stream it live here, if you care to watch. I don't know if this is the TV show TMZ is referring to or another one.
While Jon claims Kate is trying to keep him from seeing the twins on their birthday, a friend told Radar Online about what was supposedly in the rest of the email that Jon didn't read to the paparazzi.
Kate finished the email by telling Jon she's given him, if he wants it, Saturday at noon through Sunday 5 p.m. to spend with the kids. That was originally her time.
Even Michael Lohan is concerned that Jon is getting bad legal advice.
TMZ also reports that Jon and Kate are scheduled for an arbitration conference on October 13th about the missing money. Oy vey!
I just hope Cara and Maddy are able to enjoy their 9th birthday!

Jon And Kate Gosselin Birthday Drama?
Earlier today Jon Gosselin shared that he was not sure if he'd go home tomorrow for his girls' (Cara & Mady) 9th birthday.
"As my old self, as an avoider and passive, I want to go home for Cara and Mady — but I don't want to face [Kate]," Jon said.
But he must have changed his mind because he was seen buying a birthday cake at The Cupake Cafe in NYC today. My question is - why would you only buy one cake when you have two daughters celebrating a birthday PLUS you have 8 kids to share that cake? Then again, if you look at the thumbnails - that ONE cake cost $94! Whoa! That must be some amazing cake!
Maybe whether or not he shows up will depend on what kind of backlash (if any) after his appearance tonight on Entertainment Tonight?
