Wow, who knew Kate Hudson had the ability to sing like this? ET showed a clip of Kate performing an extravagant number from the upcoming musical movie 'Nine'. This film has an amazingly talented cast - Nicole Kidman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Judy Dench and more.
The film's synopsis:
Famous film director Guido Contini struggles to find harmony in his professional and personal lives, as he engages in dramatic relationships with his wife, his mistress, his muse, his agent, and his mother.
The movie is set for a Christmas Day release.

Kate Hudson Is All For Botox
Well, here's one celeb who's honest about her feelings towards Botox! It sounds like Kate Hudson didn't hold back when she sat down with Elle magazine.
"Everyone's so obsessed with who gets Botox, but it's great! Are you kidding?" she said in the December issue of Elle. "The fact that women can avoid going under the knife and get a little Botox treat and not have to worry about it? I'm glad it's there for me when it's time."
Using botox to avoid surgery... it actually makes sense, but what's wrong with a few lines?
I almost fell out of my chair when I read Kate talking about losing 20 pounds. Tiny Kate?! But it was for a role: she will play a terminally ill woman who falls in love with her doctor. Kate lost the weight by giving up alcohol.
"I love my glass of wine. I love tequila. To be in New York for two weeks and not have one beverage, I'm not sure I've ever done that!"
Kate also addressed the rumors that she's engaged to Alex Rodriguez.
"Did you know that it was this one, on my right hand?" Hudson said of rumors spurred by a certain ring she was spotted wearing. "I hear about this and I'm like 'Why would I even respond? What would I say if you're going to lie about something ridiculous?'"
She has a point there.

The Ladies Of 'Nine' Dish To Vogue
Have you heard about the musical 'Nine'? It has quite the cast, including: Daniel Day Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard, and Penelope Cruz. They talked to Vogue for the November issue (although the movie's release date was recently moved to Christmas Day).
Daniel's character, Guido, is the main character of 'Nine,' which is about a director who is searching for the perfect lead in his movie while trying to control the women in his life. The actresses were the ones interviewed by Vogue. Here are some snippets from the interview:
Nicole talked about acting:
"I had no desire to work after I had my daughter, but to lure me back, this movie was the only way."
Marion on doing musicals:
"It's been my dream to do an American musical. When I was a child, Annie was my favorite. I just never thought I would get to do it."
Penelope on balancing work and everything else in her life:
"I've been working since the age of seventeen, and I really haven't stopped. I want to balance it a little more. Instead of making three or four movies a year, I will do one."
And Kate on singing and dancing:
"I spent most of my childhood singing and dancing and just never had the chance to do it professionally. So when I got the chance to work with Rob [Marshall, the director], I was so excited, I was out of my mind."

Fact Or Fiction: Is Kate Hudson Planning To Marry Alex Rodriguez?
We heard that Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez were house-hunting in New York last week. Could that be because they are planning on getting married?
A source said: "Kate is head over heels for Alex and he feels the same way. As long as things continue to be so great, they will get married. They are practically there already with the shared homes, the children and balancing work."
Kate and Alex reportedly have introduced their children to each other (Kate's son is five-year-old Ryder, while Alex has two daughters, four-year-old Natasha and Ella, who is 16 months old) and are trying to encourage them to "bond."
The source added to the FOX 411 blog: "Kate will spend every free minute with him and she happily brings her son along with her to games and on trips to be with Alex.
"They are sharing one of her Los Angeles homes and his New York bachelor pad, but recently they have moved into a second home in Purchase, New York. Alex has to be close to New York for work and his daughters.
"Kate wanted Ryder to meet Alex's daughters, and now the three kids play together. They make an adorable family. He makes plenty of time for family meals, and especially dates with Kate."

Kate Hudson House Hunting In NYC
Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez went apartment hunting in New York City yesterday afternoon. They met up with Hudson's son, Ryder, and went to Bar Piti for lunch.
The paparazzi followed the couple while they spent time with their real estate agent, but once they sat down to eat, Kate and Alex asked a few NYC traffic officers to remove the paparazzi from the area. They were actually able to enjoy a quiet lunch with young Ryder.

Another Niece or Nephew On The Way For Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson was snapped leaving a lunch date with Alex Rodriguez today at Serafina Fabulous Grill in NYC.
Kate's brother, Oliver Hudson, and his wife, actress Erinn Bartlett, are expecting their second child, according to Life & Style. I watched Rules of Engagement for quite some time and didn't know that Oliver was Goldie Hawn's son & Kate Hudson's brother!
"It's early on in the pregnancy," adds the friend. "Erinn is a few months along."
The baby is expected in early 2010.
