Ladies Of The BAFTA's
We had so many celebrity ladies that attended the BAFTA's
in London with each looking truly spectacular. For the most part each
women kept their style pretty classic. My favorite standout was Marisa Tomei because her gown went perfectly with her hair and make up. And of course it doesn't hurt that the woman doesn't age!

Kristin Scott Thomas Didn't Want Kate Winslet To Win Golden Globe
Not everyone was thrilled when Kate Winslet won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress this year for her part in The Reader. Kristin Scott Thomas had a little something to say about the whole thing.
"I didn't get Kate Winslet as supporting actress at all. I
thought the whole thing was rather odd really - it seemed to be
incredibly unfair to the other actresses because (Winslet's part) just
wasn't a supporting role. I don't really think they should have allowed it."
Kristin and Kate will be competing against each other for a BAFTA Awards for Best Actress on Sunday. Ooooo, red carpet showdown! :)

Kate Winslet's Dad Was VERY Strict About Phone Use
So a lot of parents are strict about phone usage. It's a typical dad thing. But Kate Winslet's father took his rules and regulations to the extreme. He installed a pay phone in their house so that she had to put in money if she wanted to chat with friends or boys!
"My father was so worried about our phone he kept cutting it off and installed a payphone in our home.
Or he would pick up the extension and sigh and tut down the line when I was talking to boyfriends.
The payphone's not there anymore. But I do remember the days of it
beeping and me shouting, 'Hang on, hang on, get a coin! Don't hang up,
don't break up with me on the phone - I just need a coin!'"
That is hilarious!!! I'm filing that technique away for future use when Natalie is old enough to want to gab for hours on the phone. ;)
