Kate Winslet, Lauren Conrad, & Gabrielle Union At The Airport
It was just another busy celebrity filled weekend at the LAX airport... :)
Kate Winslet, Lauren Conrad, and Gabrielle Union were all photographed at LAX this past weekend either coming or going. Kate (as usual) stuck with a classic comfy look, while Lauren opted to kick things up a bit with fringe boots. Gabrielle Union, who I have a secret girl crush on, went with the ALWAYS comfortable long cotton/jersey dress and paired it with a jean jacket.

Kate Winslet Shopping In Manhattan

Leading lady Kate Winslet was photographed shopping at Yves Saint Laurent in Manhattan yesterday afternoon rocking a fantastic pair of boots and a fedora hat. The more I see of the fedora style hat the more I'm loving it. Personally, I'm not a hat person - but it's always fun to watch on others.
Recently, Kate gave me more reason to love her. She is one of the few actresses in Hollywood who really have their priorities checked. Kate commented on how much she hates being idolized because of her job in her recent Vanity Fair interview claiming she is just like everyone else -zits and all.
"Since I turned 30, I’ve had an acne problem on my chin. I’m just like everybody else - I just know how to cover it. There’s no big secret - I have make-up on."

Kate Winslet Says She Didn't Want Be Famous Because She Was Fat
Who doesn't love Kate Winslet?!? She's gorgeous, talented and comes across as so real. She recently opened up to Vanity Fair to spill the beans on her ambitions as a child and what it's like to be a famous mom.
On body image:
“This is going to sound really weird but I never had a
desire to be famous. I never had huge ambitions—never.… I was fat. I
didn’t know any fat famous actresses. I just did not see myself in that
world at all, and I’m being very sincere. You know, once a fat kid,
always a fat kid. Because you always think that you just look a little
bit wrong or a little bit different from everyone else. And I still
sort of have that. I often look at women who wear great jeans and high
heels and nice little T-shirts wandering around the city and I think, I
should make more of an effort. I should look like that. But then I
think, They can’t be happy in those heels.”
On an exercise routine:
“Everyone can commit to 20 minutes,” she says of working out, “especially if there’s a glass of Chardonnay afterwards.”
On wanting to win an Oscar:
“Do I want it? You bet your f***ing a** I do! I think that people
assume that I don’t care or don’t want it or don’t need it or
something. It’s hard to be there five times, and I’m only human, you
know? But I don’t go home and cry, because we’re all grown-ups here.”

Kate Winslet was at the Berlin Tegel Airport and was nice enough to stop and sign a few autographs and pose for pictures before heading off to her destination. I had to post these pictures because once again we see what a normal and kind person she is. She's one of my faves!
Kate Winslet At The Cardboard Citizens Dinner
Kate Winslet looked absolutely stunning as she attended the "Cardboard Citizens" dinner and auction to help benefit London's homeless. To me she always looks beautiful, but last night she truly shined. I like how she kept it simple and her make-up was flawless. I also never noticed what a great pair of lips she has.The dress she is wearing was actually auctioned of for a whopping $40,000! The Titanic star sold the Vivienne Westwood creation to raise funds for Cardboard Citizens.
