Rumor has it that there is talk of killing off Katherine Heigl's character on Grey's Anatomy. After everything the team has done to accommodate her movie schedule, the Emmy withdraw was the last straw and the show's creator is considering cutting Heigl loose. 

"It's not good there," a source tells me of the Grey's Anatomy set. "Shonda is ****. They're thinking of killing her off. They want Izzie dead."

What do you think? Is it Katherine's time? Will the show still be worth watching without her on it? Or is this all nonsense?

Katherine Heigl was photographed outside Hotel Cafe where she went to watch her husband, Josh Kelly, perform with his band. She seemed in good spirits smiling for the paparazzi and laughing with her friends.

We all heard that Katherine Heigl REMOVED herself from Emmy consideration this year claiming that the material she was given was not award quality. Some took that gesture as a big ol' slap in the face to Grey's production and writing staff. A source is claiming that the higher ups are especially insulted considering they rearranged their entire schedule to accommodate Katherine's filming dates throughout the year.

You do not want to upset the writing staff! They can give you cancer or have your car explode with the blink of an eye. 

"The show bent over backwards to accommodate her film schedule, and then she criticises the show for lack of material? "It’s an ungrateful slap in the face to the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place."

Now that Katharine Heigl has proved she's a big movie star with 27 Dresses and Knocked Up, she's ready to move on from Grey's Anatomy.

"She's working really long hours and is ready to move on. She's a smart one. She saw what can happen with someone like Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can't seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early."

But, fans of Grey's will be happy to know that her contract is pretty much iron clad. Katharine will most likely not be able to get out of it early.
