Celebrities Attend The 16th Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute
Katie Cassidy, Miranda Cosgrove, Jennifer Carpenter, Emily Blunt, Sofia Vasilleva, Kat Dennings, Amber Rose, Becki Newton, Katie Holmes, Julianne Moore, Renee Zellweger, Shanae Grimes, Robin Tunney, and Zoe Saldana each attended the 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute. The event was sponsored by Elle and held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. What a turn out!!
This year's honorees range from screen legend Julie Andrews to talented casting director Bonnie Timmermann, as well as several of today's most critically-acclaimed actresses: Emily Blunt, Katie Holmes, Julianne Moore, Robin Wright Penn and Renee Zellweger. Emerging actress Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek) will receive the Calvin Klein Collection Spotlight Award. Julie Andrews will receive the L'Oral Paris Legend Award.
These women each in their own way have had a "profound impact" on the industry and the event was to pay tribute to the group.

Sneak Peek: Nightmare On Elm Street Remake
Here's a look at the trailer for the new A Nightmare on Elm Street remake. The movie is going to star Jackie Earle Haley (Little Children, Watchmen) as Freddie Kruger, taking over the reigns from Robert Englund. Also featured are Kellan Lutz (Twilight series, 90210) and Katie Cassidy, one of the stars of the new Melrose Place.
The movie comes out April 30, 2010.

'Melrose Place' star Katie Cassidy was spotted strolling along Robertson Boulevard after shopping at Paige Premium Denim in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. She smiled for the cameras and showed off her bag of purchases.
Melrose Place premiered last night. Did you watch? I naturally missed it because I was out at a 98 year old's birthday party - yes, that's how I roll in the evenings. ;)

Katie Cassidy and Laura Leighton were spotted working hard on the set of 'Melrose Place' in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon. Katie looked adorable in a colorful summer dress and red wedges. When asked if she’d received any advice from Heather Locklear on playing her Ella character, Katie said
“No, I haven’t spoken to Heather, but she is a wonderful actress and my character is definitely exploring her sexuality. I have no idea what’s to come, but I’m sure it’s going to be crazy and fun.”
It'll be interesting to see how this series will turn out and if it'll last. Anyone excited for the Fall premiere?
