Will Katie Holmes Play A Villain In Tom Cruise's Next Mission Impossible?
Tom Cruise wants Katie Holmes to play a villain in the next ‘Mission: Impossible’ movie.
The actor – who stars as spy Ethan Hunt in the action franchise – is desperate to work with his wife and believes an evil part for her in the fourth film would be perfect because he doesn’t want them to play a couple on screen. A source said:
"Tom is very excited about taking ‘Mission: Impossible’ in a new direction and he sees Katie as a big part of that.
"They have wanted to work together for a while now but the idea of being a couple on screen in a romantic comedy is a bit dull. This might give them a chance to have some fun both as a couple and as hero and villainess."
What do you think? Would Katie be able to play a good villain? And what about the rumor in general? Do you think that Tom wants to work alongside his wife? I am a huge Mission Impossible fan, so I would be all over this if it happened.

Katie Holmes Spotted In Lingerie
Hmmm... Katie Holmes' character may be the bridesmaid in 'The Romantics,' but she's up to something if she's running around outside in lingerie!
These pictures are from the set of 'The Romantics.' I can't help but wonder: first, why is her character wearing a nightie outdoors, and second, who is she meeting up with (if anyone) in a nightie?
It looks like Katie did not want to be photographed in the nightie. The life of an actress!

Tom Cruise Pays A Visit To Katie Holmes On Location
Tom Cruise paid a visit to wife, Katie Holmes on the set of her new movie The Romantics. Tom stopped by the Long Island set this afternoon to take a stroll with her. Sadly, no Suri sightings today.
Also seen filming with Katie was her co-star, Malin Akerman. The women were bundled up in their coats between takes. It looks like they are wearing some pretty light clothing, so I'm sure they are freezing with those bare legs!
When you see a lot of on-set photos of a particular movie, does it ever make it seem even longer until the movie actually is released?

Wouldn't it be great if Katie Holmes and Anna Paquin become good enough friends that we get a guest appearance on 'True Blood'?! I'm getting ahead of myself aren't I? But how exciting!
Here are the girls in between takes of 'The Romantics' currently filming on Long Island - my neck of the woods. I should be stalking, shouldn't I? LOL!
If you haven't heard about the comedy yet: Seven close friends reunite for the wedding of two of their friends. Problems arise because the bride and the maid of honor have had a long rivalry over the groom.

Katie Holmes Is At Work On 'Romantics'
That didn't take long at all! No sooner was it announced that Katie Holmes was going to produce and star in the film 'Romantics' than she's filming it. Katie was spotted in New York City grabbing some coffee on a break from shooting. She was also spotted giving Suri a bottle on-set (see below).
Here's Publisher's Weekly's description of the novel 'Romantics':
[A] love triangle takes center stage among an amorous group of nine Yale friends known to each other as The Romantics. As the group reunites for the marriage of Lila Hayes and Tom McDevon at a Maine estate six years after graduation, Niederhoffer omnisciently narrates the rivalry between wealthy blonde Lila and raven-haired Laura, her maid of honor and former roommate—the Nick to Lila's Gatsby.
Laura and Tom dated early on in college, and their continuing relationship haunts Tom and Lila's over the ensuing years, which naturally causes friction. After the rehearsal dinner, the entire wedding party, minus Lila, embarks on a raucous evening of drinking and reminiscing.
Since the author is also a producer on the project, I'd imagine it's more likely to be a faithful adaptation. Katie looks so happy on-set (below), doesn't she?

Katie Holmes Lines Up Her Next Project
Tom Cruise isn't the only busy one in the Cruise-Holmes household! Katie Holmes' next project was announced today on Variety. She will be an executive producer and star in the film 'Romantics,' replacing Liv Tyler in the project.
Film revolves around eight friends from college who reunite for a wedding. Holmes, fresh off her role in Miramax's "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark," will play Laura, the maid of honor to Anna Paquin's Lila, the bride. Laura and Lila are best friends who both have a past with the groom ([Josh] Duhamel).
It's based on the novel 'Romantics' and is scheduled to begin shooting this week in New York. Luckily, New York and Boston are just a short flight apart!
