The Annual Pre-Grammy Gala
The Recording Academy presented the Annual Pre-Grammy party and a slew of our favorite artists graced the red carpet. This is such an exciting time for the music industry. More times than not we focus on the film industry - so now it's their turn to shine. ;)
So, who showed up?
Djimon Hounsou and a pregnant Kimora Lee, Clive Davis, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Jamie Foxx, Fantasia, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Carrie Underwood.
Have you noticed that ever since Katy split from her boyfriend Travis McCoy, she is no longer bubbly on the red carpet. She rarely smiles anymore. I think she is still hurting from the break up.
Kelly Clarkson Isn't A Lesbian
Kelly Clarkson is facing rumors that she's a lesbian head on. She says she could never like girls, even though she thinks the lifestyle would actually be easier for her.
"I get that all the time. People are like,
'Are you secretly a lesbian? Because I'd really love it.' Lesbians
tell it to me all the time. I'm like, 'I'm glad it works for you
and I wish I liked women like that because oftentimes men are very hard
for me, but I happen to like boys.' I could never be a lesbian. I would
never want to date (someone like) myself, ever. I'm a crazy person. I
need some kind of stable, quiet man."
Kelly says that dating her isn't easy at all.
"When I'm dating someone, it's almost like I'm
handing them this load that they have to bear. They have to read stuff
that maybe isn't so pleasant about me, and so on. So, they have to
have their own life, where they don't get wrapped up in my work.I give (potential boyfriends) every out in the book. I'm like, 'You
know what, I'm probably not the girl...this isn't fun.' And I love
my job, honestly. Everyone I date will tell you I'm very upfront with
that.If it comes down to touring or staying and hanging out, I’m gonna go tour. That’s where I am in my life, and I should be."
Choosing work over love doesn't necessarily sound like the most fun but as long as Kelly is happy, that's what matters. She sounds like she's in a good place.

First Look: Kelly Clarkson's New Video - My Life Would Suck Without You
Here it is! This song is dominating my radio. It's gotten to the point that no matter what channel I put on, Kelly Clarkson is singing, "My Life Would Such Without You".
I am SO HAPPY to see the video because I really like Kelly and have always wished her well. She looks great!

Brooke Hogan Covers Kelly Clarkson's New Single
Hmmmnn... well, in honor of always trying to find something nice to say, I will say that Brooke Hogan's need to cover Kelly Clarkson's song must mean she really likes "My Life Would Suck Without You". It's catchy, fun, and will probably do very well on the radio - that's for sure.

Kelly Clarkson Outside of BBC Radio 1
Kelly Clarkson was sweet as could be while signing and posing for autographs before heading into the BBC Radio 1 studios to promoter her new single, "All I Ever Wanted" in London yesterday. Not everyone who's won American Idol has gone onto success nor have I bought their CD, but Kelly is one of the great ones. I really do enjoy her music and it's nice to see she's remained so true to herself. Can't wait for her new CD to drop... :)
