Kelly Clarkson Loves Those Cookies
Kelly Clarkson admitted during an USA Weekend interview that she once tried a marijuana cookie while visiting Amsterdam. Since her visit, she has remained "oregano-free". She also went onto say that she has never tried any drugs (besides that cookie) and would never consider it.
"I have eaten a marijuana cookie. "It was in Amsterdam. It is legal there, and it is not legal in America. I don't ever do anything illegal at home. Since then I have been oregano-free! "I have never smoked anything in my life. I've never tried any drugs. I wouldn't do anything that would cause holes in your brain or your nasal cavity. Call me Texan, but I don't think of marijuana like that.'
Love It Or Hate It: Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson looks great here!! Not only do I really love the dress and color, but it's the perfect style for the talented and healthy Kelly. Is it just me, or does she look like she's lost about 15 lbs? It could be the cut of the dress, but I'm going to vote for weight loss. Here she is leaving Koi restaurant.

On making her albums:
"There've been a lot of cooks in the kitchen on all three of my albums. Everybody wants a success, so that's great. On the other hand, the kitchen gets real crowded."
On the RCA Records haters:
"They hated Miss Independent on my first album. It was No. 1 for six weeks, then they got behind it. They hated Breakaway. The song I wrote that they hated the most was Because of You. I fought and fought for it, it became successful and they finally got behind it. I'm not complaining, I'll just say no until I get my way, and I did."
On rumors that Clive Davis didn't like her new album, My December:
"I just want people to hear it, instead of 100-year old executives making decisions on what's good for pop radio. It's people my age who listen to it. My gut hasn't been wrong yet, so why wouldn't I continue to follow it?"
On American Idol:
"I did my own hair and makeup for the first half of the shows. What you saw us wearing was our stuff from home. We'd be in a magazine under the heading "What Was She Thinking?' I was like, I'm thinking I ain't got no money."
On money:
"I have saved and saved, and I don't have to work another day. When I won Idol and started working with a business manager, she asked, "What do you want?' I was like, I don't ever want to have to make a decision because I need money. So we accomplished that two years ago, and I'm set."

"Four? No, wait. Oh my God, five! I have major trust issues. I just don't make out with people. That's a waste of my kisses and time. And it's so personal. It's like, my face. Plus, I'm afraid of mouth herpes."
On previous relationships and getting burned in the past:
Kelly spoke bitterly about a former boyfriend who "got engaged the day we broke up", saying he had been seeing the other woman throughout.
"I didn't even really like the guy. I'm more mad at myself for being so blind. Why would I pick someone like him to date? What's wrong with me?

Kelly Clarkson Gets New Management - No Word On Stylist
Kelly Clarkson has officially joined Nashville-based Starstruck Entertainment. This is one less thing this girl has to worry about. It is no secret that Kelly has been struggling with her album release date and concert sales. I have a feeling this switch will make all the difference. In other news, I really wish she would be more careful when choosing her clothing for on stage performances. The knee high boots and dress do nothing for her. Kelly is still amazing though.

YOU SAY YOU ARE A VERY SPIRITUAL PERSON. WAS THAT SOMETHING YOU TURNED TO FOR HOPE AND FAITH WHEN TIMES WERE TOUGH?
I'm actually not a big fan of the word hope. I think it's a depressing word. I don't want to hope - ” I want to know. Like I don't hope there's a God, I know there's a God. When I was a kid, about 7 or 8, we lived in Fort Worth in this complex and we literally had nothing to do. So my spirituality kept me out of trouble. A girl who lived in the complex asked me if I wanted to go to church with her. It was a black church, and I was one of five white people there. Everyone was clapping and singing, full of joy and life. I only went there once, but it was my first church experience, and I loved it. They were all having fun and I thought, This is for me.
DO YOU STILL HAVE A LOT OF FRIENDS FROM HOME?
My best friend and I come from similar backgrounds - ” we're both from divorced families, and we are literally like sisters. I have two other friends I'm very close to who also live in Texas. I love my family, but sometimes I think your friends become your family.
DO PEOPLE TRY TO FIX YOU UP WITH GUYS?
All the time! And I'm like, "Really, I don't think it's going to work." I've done it once. People think they know you and what you will like, and it just ends up being embarrassing.

Kelly Clarkson made the best of it when she found she was unable to get into her car last night after having dinner with a mystery guy and Reba McEntire at Koi. We rarely get to see candid shots of Kelly. So it's great that she is having so much fun. Does anyone know who he is? Some are saying he is her brother.
