Miley Cyrus was spotted on the 'Sex and the City 2' movie set yesterday, shooting her scenes. Look at that outfit! Think she and Kim Cattrell could be twins?
Us Weekly wrote up what it looked like was happening in the scene, but I'll put it below the link for those of you who want to avoid spoilers.

Kim Cattrell On The 'Sex And The City' Movie Set

Samantha's back! Here's Kim Cattrell on the set of the new 'Sex and the City' movie. Clearly her fashion sense hasn't changed: what do you think of the purple shoes?
People are really excited about this movie being filmed. Earlier this week, producers reportedly had to cut one of Cynthia Nixon's scenes from the film over concerns for her safety when fans tried to storm the set!
It's not just 'Twilight' fans who get a little crazed :)

A Sex And The City Sequel Will Happen!

The ladies are back! After the first Sex and the City: The Movie grossed $150 million, it's not shocking that there would be a sequel, but only just now have all four stars (Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrell, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis) committed to the sequel.
'Not all the contracts are signed, but everyone is on board,' a source tells Us. 'It just happened.' "
All the leads are getting "hefty raises" this time around. They deserve it, since the first movie did so well!
Sarah said she was never against doing another movie.
'It's all about the story,' she said. 'If we can’t tell a story that's really worthy of an audience, then we won't do it.
'We've been really lucky at this point,' she continued. 'We’ve been
in people's good graces for a long time, and we take that very
seriously. So that’s the biggest challenge, the story.' "
I'm glad to hear concern about making sure the story is good! And Cynthia has some ideas about what would make a good story.
I would love to see [Miranda] and Carrie and Charlotte and Samantha all go off on some wild mad cap adventure somewhere,' she said."
Hmmm, sounds promising...
What do you think? Are you excited or not?

No Hard Feelings Between Sarah Jessica Parker And Kim Cattrall

Kim Cattrall, aka Samantha, wasn't going to do the Sex and the City movie at first, because she was holding out for more money. In some casts that might have caused conflict, but not with these ladies. Sarah Jessica Parker says she has no hard feelings for the way Kim handled the situation.
"If I had thought it was any of my business at the time, what I would have said is, 'Isn't it okay for Kim to think the money wasn't right?'"
She also thinks that waiting made the movie more worthwhile.
"Perhaps [Kim] was some kind of emotional psychic, because this way we made a better movie."
And SJP talked about her character's relationship with Big in the movie.
"I really don't think money was a criteria [for their romance]. It never would have occurred to her to take money from a man."
She also gabs about the closet in the house that Big buys Carrie in the movie.
"The closet was spectacular. That's what's promising about Carrie's relationship with Big. He doesn't care [about her love for clothes] - ” he doesn't judge it."
They could not have made the SATC movie with Kim as Samantha so I say SJP is right...what's wrong with wanting more money if you know you deserve it? What do you think?
Kim Cattrall Wanted More Money And Needed A Break

It's funny. The media made a very big deal about Kim Cattrall not playing along with the movie offer as soon as it was placed on the table. But in the end, it didn't matter how much WE wanted the movie to exist. Business is business and you have to give it to Kim for sticking up for what she believed in. Here she is talking about holding off for a higher paycheck.
"I never expected to be paid what Sarah was being paid. But I felt that the offer was not worthy of what the three of us had contributed. And I spoke up about it. I feel like I stuck my neck out. I fought. I don't ever want to be on a set where I feel undervalued."
Believe it or not, she actually responded to the Sarah Jessica Parker feud rumor! Once again, she made complete sense saying that after being with the same gals for nearly 20 hours a day, she just needed some time away.
"Do you get along with your colleagues all the time? If you're spending 18 hours a day at work, the last thing you want to do is go and have a drink with the people who you just (spend the day with). You just need to get away."
PS - I updated my Twitter account with this information a few days ago (completely obsessed with it). I am really trying to get a premiere ticket and luckily had someone promoting the film email me to set up a future contest on INO last week. PERFECT TIMING! I happened to mention (and when I say mention I really mean BEG) about going to the premiere. Timing was perfect because she was JUST putting together a list of requests from the press for passes. So I am officially on the list. IF I do get in (snowball's chance in what?) someone is going to have to take over this website when I die of a heart attack. And my two year old daughter is too young to read about Paris and Lindsay...

Sex And The City Ladies Go To Point Foundation Honors The Arts

AHH! Just seeing the four of them together gets me so excited for the movie! But, that's not what the ladies were out promoting last night. Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis all attended The Point Foundation Honors the Arts 2008, at Capitale in New York City.

An Interview With The SATC Ladies

The beautiful ladies of Sex and the City sat down to talk a little about making the movie, public interest, the paparazzi and hoping that the movie will still be a surprise. Read on to hear what all four women had to say!
On what it was like shooting with so many people around:
Cynthia Nixon: It was wild. My first day was the second or third day of filming, when all four of us were working for the first time. We were back in these outfits and these heels again. We'd been away from it, and now there were 200 people and photographers on the street watching, which was very new for us. We had to re-learn how to walk down the street and walk in unison and not teeter over in our heels, but it kind of felt great. What it felt like was a four-headed eight-legged organism.
Kristin Davis: Cynthia said, 'It's like almost going back to high school, yet not.' There's an intense familiarity between us, and we are in many ways like sisters. We finish each others' sentences and we were never separated from each other. People kept asking, 'How is it to be back together?' But we were never separated, we just had to go back to being our characters which was a very surreal.
Kim Cattrall: It was so easy. God, it was so fabulous and fun. The most difficult thing was the first day, there were so many crowds on the street and they were screaming and yelling and I just was really kind of...It kind of broke my concentration. I was overwhelmed, as I think all of us were, because I didn't know what to expect and there's someone screaming in the middle of a scene, 'I love you Samantha!' or 'Carrie, I'm over here!' We had never really dealt with that. But we were kind of asking for it, shooting on Park Avenue in September, in the late afternoon, while the city was packed.
Kristin Davis: The cacophony and insanity...It was shocking, mainly because of the paparazzi now. That whole thing has escalated since we did the pilot in '97. Like, a few years ago when Sarah was pregnant and they started trailing her 24/7, it was frightening and strange. And now that's common. My first day shooting was with Chris Noth and there were maybe 10 paparazzi video cameras on us all day, all the time - while we were acting, and while we weren't. As we were filming the scene! I was like, 'Aren't they getting the dialogue?' You want the scene to be a surprise when they see it. We'd had the paparazzi before, but not the video before. It was weird having video cameras in your face all the time. That was new.
AHHHH! With every new little promotion that comes out for the movie I get more and more excited! I can not WAIT! Check out the full interview, if you're interested, here.
