Kylie Minogue Enjoys A Quieter Life In America
Kylie Minogue loves living in America because no-one recognizes her. The singer – who has had a globally successful career spanning over 20 years – claims she can walk around incognito in the US and not get hassled by fans. The 41-year-old Australian superstar - who finishes her American tour in New York today - said:
“I can keep a much lower profile, which is enjoyable. And then if someone’s looking at me, I’m like, ‘Why are they staring at me? What’s wrong? Have I got something on my face?’ ”
LOL! I can't believe she doesn't get recognized! That's surprising.
The ‘Wow’ singer also revealed she sees doubles of herself at her concerts because her fans dress up like her. She told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper:
“I’ve had lots of people dressed as versions of me. I’ve had flight attendants, robots, showgirls, all of them – from three year olds up.”
Kylie is now planning to spend more time in America after being offered a Las Vegas residency. Her sister, Dannii, recently revealed:
"The response from her shows in America have been phenomenal. They love her out there. She has now been asked to take the show back to Vegas and extend it as a residency over there. I'm so proud of her."
Elton John, Cher, Celine Dion... and now Kylie. She must have signed a very lucrative contract! Good for her.

Kylie Minogue was seen out and about in NYC wearing an all polka dot outfit and snakeskin heels. She certainly looks comfortable, doesn't she? Is this a hit or miss for Miss Kylie?
PS - if you heard rumors that Kylie is engaged to Kris Smith, they are incorrect. Just because Kris goes shopping for jewelry doesn't mean he's looking for an engagement ring.
"He was spotted in a jewelers and everyone got excited. He called me and said, rather sheepishly, ‘I’m sorry babe. I was actually looking at a watch.’ I just laughed my head off. It’s not true that we’re getting engaged but what is true is that we’ve each found our partner for life and we’re working out our future together."

Kylie? Not our Kylie? But let's play along.
Kylie Minogue reportedly hit her boyfriend during a public fight.
The 41-year-old singer slapped Spanish model Andres Velencoso in the face during an argument outside the B Bar, in New York, earlier this week.
An onlooker said:
“At some point, Kylie and Andres got separated. When Kylie found him, she slapped him in the face with a fan. Then she yelled at him for making her wait outside while he stayed inside and got another drink."
Slapped him in the face with a fan? I don't know... I just don't think so. But what do you think? Is this story fact or fiction?

Emma Watson, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Minogue Out And About
Forgive me, I know we've had an Emma Watson overload lately. But, she's going to be aaaaaaall over the place until the hype for the latest Harry Potter movie dies down. Here Emma was spotted outside David Letterman before going in to do a little Halfblood Prince promotion.
In the mean time, Kylie Minogue hit up the John Paul Gaultier fashion show for Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris, and then took a train back to London. Pretty cool that she takes the train, and not a private jet, like the rest of us mere mortals.
And then Kim Kardashian was spotted earlier today looking au naturel as she headed to the gym for a little workout.

Kylie Minogue has an extremely vibrant sense of fashion. She's always photographed wearing bright colors and lots of fun styles. But....the maxi dress isn't the most flattering look on anyone! What do you think about this dress on Kylie, do you love it or hate it?
She was spotted leaving her house which is currently undergoing renovations. STRESS. So maybe we should cut her some slack for that. :) It's understandable that she doesn't have time to pull together a complicated outfit!
And speaking in general...it's hot. It's summer. You want to be comfortable. I completely get that. But, are maxi dresses the way to go?
