Boy! Isn't today the day for trailers... MTV has come out with their trailer for The Hills premiering in a few weeks and this season looks GOOD. I can't wait for Audrina to step up and SAY something about the MESS that moved into the Hills. I know a lot of you who comment aren't a fan of the show. But I still had to share.

L.A. boutique Kitson just dropped Lauren Conrad's line. The "actress" didn't do much to promote it and sales plummeted.

"Sales were lackluster," Kitson owner Fraser Ross told us. "Initially it was great. They need to realize it’s no different than selling your album, your TV shows, your movies. You have to keep promoting it."

This isn't the first line Kitson has dropped. A few weeks ago, Victoria Beckham got the boot as well. Has anyone seen Lauren's line up close and personal? A store in town that I frequent says she can't keep the clothes on the racks! I guess not everyone is turned off by the high prices.

I'm DYING. Christian Bale looked SO hot at the premiere of Dark Knight. Ethan Hawke on the other hand confused me a little bit with his decision to wear a baseball cap to the event. Hey, to each his own, right?

And I'm dying again because I love, love, loooooove Lauren Conrad's dress. It's a Dolce and Gabbana. For the meager price of just $645 it can be yours too.

Lauren Conrad has joined the fight against domestic violence by teaming up with mark. and chairing their new campaign, Girls m.powerment. I can't say enough how I appreciate when larger organizations put their money to such great use. Girls m.powerment Campaign's main goal, besides providing the confidence, courage and network needed to remove females from abusive relationships is to put all domestic violence shelters out of business. I just loved when mark's spokesperson said that bold statement. Imagine not needing those shelters anymore?

mark. was thrilled to have Lauren come on board as their spokesperson. Not only because she designed a heart necklace in which 100% of net proceeds will fund their new program, but because Lauren is a young, vibrant, educated female who has goals and works hard at achieving them.

"Abuse is a devastating cycle. By purchasing the necklace for yourself or your friends, you'll support the cause and raise awareness. Empower yourself and show your support, wear the have a heart necklace."

The necklace will be available later on this year.

Lauren Conrad is a busy bee these days working on her reality show, going to school, managing a clothing line, and being mark's (Avon's sister company) key spokesperson. News will break about the pair this Friday (it's already written up and ready to go - I just have to wait until I am allowed to post). In the meantime, I wanted to share a few of Lauren's beauty secrets that she passed along during our meeting on Monday.

How does she keep her hair looking so fresh even after traveling?

Lauren says she uses Instant Vacation Greek Isles Sea Salt Styling Spray by mark. She isn't a heavy product user and the sea salt gives her just enough coverage to keep her hair looking its best.

She lets it dry naturally, adds some loose curls and then sprays away.

Lauren's tip for wearing red lipstick:

Add some gloss on top of it. Wearing matte red lipstick alone can "sometimes be too mature". So Lauren opts for a little shine to add some youth to the look. That's exactly what she did for her runway show a few months ago in LA. Want to know her favorite color? Stay tuned.

Newest trend in eye color?

Metallics! Lauren's favorite pop color for under her eyes these days is blue.

How to get risky with makeup when you aren't that type of gal?

"Do it in a polish." Add funky colors to your look by choosing a fun color for your nails. And if you aren't brave enough to rock a fluorescent orange (like the super sweet editor I met from Bella Sugar) on your nails, throw it on your toes.

Lauren's beauty tip:

"Less is more."

What about her morning beauty routine?

Believe it or not. Lauren doesn't really have one. She just washes her face and moisturizes. Miss Conrad doesn't believe in using multiple products as part of your day to day life. Perhaps that's because she doesn't need to yet. :)

That's also her traveling tip - moisturize and bring some along for the ride. Lauren admits that her "skin gets thrashed" flying coast to coast and always has some handy to keep it fresh.

I can't wait until Friday so I can talk about all the new AMAZING products that are coming out including a new jewelry, accessory and bag line.

If you don't have an Avon / mark representative, I wanted to pass mine along. Their line is very different from what I expected. It's young, new and not in your mom's market anymore. :)
