Lots of New York fashionistas came out for Longchamps anniversary celebration dressed to impressed. Diane Kruger chose to take more of a risk than anybody else, though. What do we think about her daring belly baring outfit?

I always wonder what motivates celebs to go to these fashion events. Yesterday the Chanel Boutique celebrated it's grand opening and Rachel Bilson, Emma Roberts, Leighton Meester, Nicollette Sheridan, Michelle Trachtenberg, Maria Menounos, and Angie Harmon all came out for the big event.

Do you think they go out of a true friendship to the designer? Maybe they feel obligated because the designer has given them free clothes in the past...or maybe they are hoping to get more free clothes! Who knows...

Even if I haven't gotten hooked on the show yet, I am definitely hooked on the wardrobe.  Gossip Girl filmed in N.Y.C. yesterday and of course, the clothes are fabulous!  I love, love, looooove Leighton Meester's green jacket!  And the rest of the pictures are of the cast continuing to film the wedding scene, so of course, the clothes are the same as the last time we saw them on set for the wedding.Bauer Griffin

TV Guide interviewed several members of the cast of Gossip Girl and they all just gushed about each other. I guess it's true that on some shows, co-stars become family.
Leighton Meester on Ed Westwick:

"Ed is just incredible. He's got that kind of bad boy edge to him, but he has a real soft side. I find him to be the most down to earth, cool and sweet guy. He gets into these funny moods where he's really silly. Ed's also in a band and he's great on stage. They played the other night, and I was yelling! He's really artistic and an amazing singer and dancer. He loves good rock, alternative music. He's introduced me to a lot of stuff that I really love now, like the Libertines and Babyshambles. Girls just follow him. I have a feeling Ed would do OK even if he wasn't on a TV Show."

Chace Crawford on Leighton:

"What makes Leighton so attractive is that she's very confident. She's comfortable in her own skin and she's not trying to win anyone's approval, which is sexy. She's also really intelligent and has a great sense of humor. I feel like I have an odd sense of humor and she does, too. We're both kind of weirdos. When you're hanging out with her, you're free to do anything. She doesn't judge. Leighton was born in the wrong generation. She should have been born in the 70's because she's very free spirited. If people would be shocked by anything about her, it's how nice she is, how personable. And obviously, she's gorgeous."

Leighton on Chace:

"Chace can appeal to pretty much anybody because he's so sweet and cultured. He has this kind of moral [center] - I think it's because he's from the South. He's a gentleman and he's also very fashionable. And he's fun to work with. Chace is really good at making different voices and quoting movies. He loves talking about football, but I could care less. He knows he's hot, but he's smart about it. He doesn't let it get to his head and I think that's really attractive."

It sounds to me like Chace has a little crush on Leighton.  Sure he might have a past with other ladies in Hollywood, but wouldn't it be cute if those two got together?

Leighton Meester and Michelle Trachtenberg were photographed filming the extremely popular, Gossip Girl. This show is really doing well and it's becoming a huge pop phenomenon. I may be too early in saying this, but I think it'll end up being as revered as Sex and the City and 90210 was. Your thoughts?Bauer Griffin

Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley & Kelly Rutherford were spotted filming, "Gossip Girl" in New York the other day and from the looks of it Kelly's character is getting married. I love what everyone is wearing and something tells me there's not going to be that horrifying brides maid dress that other "normal" people are forced to wear. You have to love the glamor and glitz that come with the opera. It was the Metropolitan Opera's opening night and the celebs were out in full force on the red carpet. My person fave of the night...Eva Mendes. She looked stunning! Leighton Meester was cute of course, but I can't say I'm crazy over mustard yellow. What about you? Which celeb do you think rocked it? Want to know who Leighton Meester wants her Gossip Girl character to hook up with? Well, it's not Chuck or Nate, who have seemed to be her only two options for a while now.

"I like neither of those guys for Blair. I think both of them are kind of wrong. Nate really wronged her, and Chuck is a bad seed. Blair needs a break from love and needs to get her bearings."

She also mentioned that she hadn't seen last night's episode yet but that she's excited for it...and Leighton said she's not surprised that Blair is taking revenge on Jenny.

"I figured this would happen, because it can be expected when all you do is bring other people down," Meester says. "I think that Blair is going to have to crawl her way back to the top and there might be a few casualties along the way."
