Angelina Jolie In Talks To Become A Gucci
Angelina Jolie is in discussions to star in 'Gucci' as Patrizia Reggiano, the socialite who was sentenced to 29 years in prison for plotting to murder her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci.
[T]he drama... recaptures the glamorous days of the Gucci family dynasty in the 1970s and '80s, when the family was selling $500 million in product annually. Squabbles hobbled the clan until Maurizio, the grandson of founder Guccio Gucci, came out on top of a power struggle to run the family business. Just when he was about to reestablish the brand name by debuting a line designed by newcomer -- and now film director -- Tom Ford, Maurizio was gunned down in front of his Milan apartment in 1995.
According to Variety, the studio is hiring a writer to work on the script, and the role of Maurizio has not been cast, although Ridley Scott reportedly has approached Leonardo DiCaprio about the role.
To me, this sounds like an interesting movie and a great role for Angelina (and Leo, for that matter). Do you agree or not?

Ellen Page And Leonardo DiCaprio On Set
Ellen Page and Leonardo DiCaprio were hard at work today on the set of their sci-fi thriller Inception. The two were filming in Los Angeles with director Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight), who also wrote the script.
The only description offered up on IMDB about the movie is this:
A CEO-type becomes involved in a blackmailing scandal
Look how tiny she is compared to Leo and she even has a bit of a heel on her boots! Do you plan to see the movie? I enjoy both of them, so it's pretty likely that I'll see it.

Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted on the set of his new movie, 'Inception', in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. The description of the sci-fi thriller on IMDb states
A CEO-type becomes involved in a blackmailing scandal.
The films is directed by Christopher Nolan, best known as the director of the new Batman films. The film is set to release mid-July 2010. I can't wait!

I love this! Leonardo DiCaprio was seen enjoying a bike ride with family and friends NYC's Soho yesterday afternoon. I love how they are all trying to safely lock up their rides on one pole. What a pile!
Leonardo is a lover of the environment and one of the most vocal celebs in Hollywood about being green. Looks like he practices what he preaches.

Leonardo DiCaprio Needs To Lose 30 Pounds For Next Film
Wow! 30 POUNDS!
Leonardo DiCaprio must lose 30lbs for his new film.
The 34-year-old actor has embarked on a new diet and exercise regime to help shed the pounds ahead of a fight sequence for action movie ‘Inception’.
A source told RadarOnline:
“Leonardo needs to shed at least 30lbs. He's gained weight recently and looks almost a bit flabby, which isn't good, especially as the camera adds pounds.
“There's an action scene coming up at the end of the year in which he needs to appear emaciated, so the pressure is on.”
Although Leonardo – who plays Jacob Hastley in the film, which is about an officer worker who becomes involved in a blackmail scandal - is finding it hard to cut out calorific treats, he is determined to be in top shape for the scene.
The movie source said:
“He is following a strict diet and is embarking on a rigorous workout regime. Leonardo is a pretty determined kind of guy, when he sets his mind to things he always achieves them. Though this is going to be hard for him, you can guarantee he'll succeed."
For the salary he's getting, I'm sure he'll put in the effort. :)
Leonardo DiCaprio Is At Work On 'Inception'
The vacation (pictured) is over for Leonardo DiCaprio. After going on a Mediterranean cruise with friends, Leo was spotted at work on the set of his new movie 'Inception' earlier today in Paris. He was shooting a scene with co-star Ellen Page ('Juno') on a bridge at the Seine.
[R]eports have described Inception as a contemporary sci-fi action thriller set within "the architecture of the mind."
Monday's scene on the closed set utilized two giant mirrors, each the
size of a storefront and slowly rotating and reflecting each other. The
leading man – dressed in a grey-green Armani jacket, black trousers and
looking very tanned and blond – stood between them, creating a
funhouse-mirror effect of a thousand reflections before the mirrors
pulled away to reveal him walking the bridge with Ellen Page amid a sea
of extras.An argument develops between them and Page turns violent,
shoving him, knocking him down. What followed were shots of the extras,
standing as still as statues, as though they were frozen in time."
Hmmm... unusual but quite a cast. Co-star Marion Cottillard was spotted arriving on set just as Leo and Ellen were finishing up.
Does this sound like something worth trekking out to the theater for, a renter, or one Leo film you may skip?

Leonardo DiCaprio Is Ready For A 'Brave New World'
Unfortunately for Leonardo DiCaprio, it's not a world where all the women are six-foot-tall, rail-thin, and blonde, however :) Leo is teaming up with director Ridley Scott to bring Aldous Huxley's novel, 'A Brave New World,' to the big screen.
Huxley sets his book in a seemingly perfect 26th century world that has
achieved harmony by tightly controlling birth, which takes place mainly
in laboratories, and outlawing family. The world is populated by a
series of five castes, each with its own defined roles.Characters who figure in to the story are Bernard, a lower-caste
member, and Lenina, the woman with whom he is infatuated. DiCaprio is
would likely play Bernard, who is persecuted when the leaders of the
society find his behavior antisocial."
Hmmm... this could be really interesting, depending on how it's done. If it gets super preachy, not so good. But I have faith in both Leo and Ridley!
