Lily Allen And Courtney Love Have A Misunderstanding
Have you heard about the "feud" (which may really be too strong of a word, maybe "misunderstanding" is better) going on between Lily Allen and Courtney Love?
It apparently started at the Brit Awards (the UK version of the Grammy's) when Courtney told reporters she wanted to wear a Chanel dress to the awards but couldn't because Lily had put a "lock" on all Chanel dresses for the event.
Lily reportedly heard about it, and it led to some sort of "interaction" at the NME Awards earlier this week. Lily explained it on twitter:
just clearing a couple of things up. Courtney Love and I did NOT have a bust up at the NME'S. There was an exchange of words, yes
she's upset because she has got it into her head that i put a lock on some dresses for the brit awards. she's made no secret of this and, when i saw her at the NME'S she tried to talk to me and i told her to shut up stop spreading stupid rumours about me.
and thats pretty much it. i would never fight with her , as a rule i don't pick on crazy old ladies .
OUCH!
It looks like Courtney had already let Lily off the hook, though. This is what she tweeted a couple of days ago (February 24):
@lilyroseallen dear i was told by my pr you had a ;ock on chanel couture this coulve been nonsense, its a compliment if true, no need .
@lilyroseallen i think i know the actual reality, if you did NOT have a lock wich i think is the mpore probable i was told nonsense. so end
Lily Allen Not Quitting Music Just Yet
Lily Allen has talked openly about her desire to quit making music, leave London, and lead a quiet life. Apparently, she isn't ready to do that just yet. At the NME Awards last night this is what she had to say about her plans for the immediate future:
"I'm setting up a record label and a music charity and website and I'm also doing a vintage clothes shop with my sister, it's amazing stuff that would be really expensive but we're renting it [out] for a fraction of the price, so girls can come and get dressed up for a night out and have a laugh!" she said.
"I'm not making another album for a bit," she continued. "Maybe in five years.”
Lily certainly isn't heading out of London for a quiet life right now. I don't blame her: celebrity is fleeting, so she should make the most of her time in the limelight while she has it.
She has plenty of time to settle down in the country somewhere and have a quiet life later :)

Lady Gaga, Lily Allen and Leona Lewis showed off their red carpet fashion for the 2010 BRIT Awards. The awards are being held at Earl's court in London, England. This year is the 30th Anniversary.
Any opinions on what the ladies chose to wear? Gaga never disappoints. Do her arms seem to be coming out of the sides of her head? LOL! They look way too high up, don't they? I'm glad I'm not seated behind her with that big hair. haha.

Lily Allen Is Ready For A Baby
Lily Allen wants to have a baby.... but what does her Sam Cooper think about her plan? The ‘Not Fair’ singer told the press that she is ready to be a mom but she isn't currently pregnant. She told fans at Australia’s Big Day Out festival:
“I want to have a baby. I’m not saying I’m pregnant now. Shut up, Lily. Shut up, Lily. That's the sort of stuff that gets me into trouble I suppose."
Lily recently spoke about her desire to settle down outside of London and live a quiet life:
“I just want to have babies and live in the countryside, that’s my goal really. I’m not a careerist, what I really want is to be a mum. I am driven, but that drive goes as far as keeping a roof over my head and having a routine.
“I have been in a relationship for six or seven months now and its going really well, so why not?”
Lily has always been open with her feelings and desires...but this decision has a little something to do with Sam right? Wonder if he's on the same page. And if he's not, will it affect their relationship?

Fact Or Fiction: Lily Allen Is Engaged
Lily Allen has been spotted wearing a diamond on her ring finger - some are calling it an engagement ring. The 24-year-old ‘Not Fair’ singer was seen enjoying a meal at London restaurant Quo Vadis with her boyfriend Sam Cooper and photographers snapped away at the piece of jewelry. An onlooker in the restaurant told the Daily Star newspaper:
“It seemed like they were celebrating something but Lily’s smile vanished when she saw the cameras. She looked determined not to have her picture taken with the ring on.”
However, her spokesperson has denied she is engaged:
“She often wears a ring on that finger.”
Well, that doesn't really sound like a denial. It sounds like she avoided giving a firm answer right?
Lily has been dating the 44-year-old builder since the summer, and she recently revealed they keep the romance alive in their relationship by taking mini-breaks in Europe.
“If I’m on tour in Europe, Sam will fly out on a Friday night when he’s finished work and stay with me for the weekend and then fly back on a Sunday. We talk to each other two or three times a day.”
