Mandy Moore Releases Statement About Missing DJ AM

"I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend.
To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones."
-- Mandy Moore on the passing of Adam Goldstein
Mandy Moore Uses Kiehl's Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo

It makes sense to me that Mandy Moore uses Kiehl's Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo. The brand is known to be natural, clean and beautifully basic - very much like Mandy!

Mandy Moore's Beauty Staples

Mandy Moore is looking forward to breaking out her sweaters and warm weather gear for Fall:
This season is all about being cozy, and that's pretty much my mantra these days."
Leather jackets and boots aside, there are some (beauty!) items she looks for all year 'round!:
Fresh Rice Dry Oil ($48 for 3.6 oz at Amazon):
Once the temperature starts to drop, I trade in my body lotion for an oil instead. It absorbs much faster and keeps me from ever dealing with dry winter skin."
Nars Cream Eyeshadow in Corfu ($21 at Amazon):
Corfu by Nars is an eyeshadow I use year-round. It's very neutral with just a touch of sparkle."
Le Labo Rose 31 ($52 for 50 ml):
My favorite scent, Rose 31 from Le Labo, is actually for men. Contrary to the name, it's quite deep and not overly floral."

Mandy Moore Covers Lucky Magazine

Mandy Moore is experienced at covering Lucky magazine: this is her fourth time posing as their covergirl.
"It’s my fourth time doing this and I’ve learned to expect two things: It’ll be easy and really, really fun," said the 25-year-old singer/songwriter/actress, who arrived at our L.A. shoot in a low-key outfit of Current/Elliott jeans, a gray tee, and Loeffler Randall flats.
Mandy reportedly selected "quietly chic pieces" from Lucky's clothing rack and jewelry trays.
"I’m really into simple things I can grab and wear every day," she said. "I get bored with anything too statement-y."
Mandy also shared her fashion inspiration.
"My husband [alt-country rocker Ryan Adams] and I have been watching a lot of Moonlighting randomly. He introduced me to it and I have to say, I’m sort of obsessed with that era. Cybill Shepherd rocked some pretty unbelievable outfits."
And do you think Mandy's husband influenced her choices in musical inspiration?
"I have this idea of living in Laurel Canyon in the early ‘70s and Carol King, Joni Mitchell, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, and the Zappos would just sort of hang out and jam with one another. It seems like such an ideal time to be an artist."

Mandy Moore Does Women's Health Magazine

Mandy Moore graced the cover of Women's Health Magazine for their July/August issue. She looks amazing for her photo shoot and as usual, gave a great, candid interview! I particularly like the quote she gave about her marriage to Ryan Adams. She seems like she went into things with her eyes open. Hopefully this will be a relationship that goes against the Hollywood divorce trend!
On misconceptions of Mandy:
“I understand people have preconceived notions of who I am or what I do. But I do find it bizarre that people find it bizarre that I’ve grown up.”
On the “Big” wedding:
“It was never important for a wedding to be about anything other than me and my partner. A big celebration was never my cup of tea.”
On marriage:
“I didn’t know if marriage was something that was super important to me. I thought, maybe I don’t need that in my life. I didn’t take the decision (to get married) lightly. I ventured into it realistically. But life takes you places you wouldn’t have expected. I’m really content with what was in the cards for me.”
On her married life:
“We’re quiet people who live a normal, boring life.”

Mandy Moore Taping A Segment For MuchMusic

Mandy Moore stopped by MuchMusic for a taping of 'Much On Demand' on Thursday afternoon. Mandy is currently doing a press tour to promote her new album. I wonder if Mandy minds talking about her recent marriage to Ryan Adams since that question ALWAYS seems to come up in interviews. She seems rather private and the type that wouldn't want to share that part of her life. However, the record needs to sell and if that is what it will take...
I just can't get over how adorable she is! She's always smiling and looking happy. Ryan is one lucky guy : )

Mandy Moore Performing Live At Amoeba Records

Mandy Moore
is seen performing live at Amoeba Records promoting her new album 'Amanda Leigh'
in Hollywood, California. I'm so very excited this artist has come out with new work and you can tell by the shots Mandy is singing live - a rarity these days in the industry.
Recently Mandy was asked, "If you ran into 14-year-old Mandy Moore, what’s something you’d want her to know?"
The singer responded:
God. 14-year-old Mandy Moore. Jeez. I’d probably be pretty insulted by what I was wearing. Not that I have any fashion sense now, necessarily, but I just look back at pictures and think, Who let me wear my hair like that? Who let me wear that awful tablecloth as a skirt? Just dumb things, but I would say just try and hold onto that confidence and fearlessness when you’re younger because it slowly evaporates over time. I’m constantly searching for that similar feeling. Being on stage and performing in front of tens of thousands of people when you’re 14 -- I just remember never batting an eyelash. I was cool as a cucumber about that. But now to perform in front of a fraction of those people, I’m a nervous wreck all day and I put all this pressure on myself -- I’ve built it up to be something that it’s not. So, I’d probably go up to the younger version of myself and ask her to maintain that sense of confidence as long as I could.
I love how she admits she gets nervous on stage now. It's true with age comes fear... for the most part.
