Mary-Louise Parker Talks Parenthood And Adopting More Children
OK! Magazine caught up with Mary-Louise Parker last night during the Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala to chat about motherhood and adoption. Mary-Louise is mom to William, 5, (whose dad is Billy Crudup) and Caroline "Ash", adopted from Ethiopia in 2007.
She shared a little about her decision to adopt and that adding another child to her family may be in her future:
"Some people are drawn to do it, and I felt like if I don’t do it now, I’m going to regret it my whole life, so I just went ahead and did it,” she says “And I might do it again. I don’t know. I would love to, but children take a lot of energy. They’re a lot of fun.”
Her overall view on parenthood:
“It’s magical, it’s amazing, it’s profound, it’s dramatic and it’s hard,” she says. “I’m so glad I’m doing it.”
OK! asks her what the biggest thing she's learned about herself since becoming a mom is. This is my favorite quote from the interview:
“That I don’t know anything,” she laughs. “I think they really put you in touch with how little you know, and how little you’re capable [laughs] of and how much you’re capable of. They’re very humbling – children. I am more patient.”
Halloween is a Christmas theme for them. How cute!
“I’m going to be an elf, my son is going to be Santa and my daughter is going to be the snow princess. I’ll try not to eat all the candy. We really like candy. Candy’s fun.”
I would love to see them in costume!! And I agree with her on the candy part! She sounds like such a great mom and so content with her life, doesn't she?

Mary-Louise Parker Outside Of The Ed Sullivan Theater
Mary-Louise Parker was seen outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre in NYC, signing autographs before heading inside to film a segment for the 'Late Show With David Letterman' yesterday afternoon. Mary-Louise is on the promotional tour for the Showtime series, 'Weeds'.
The season finale is next week. Any loyal Weeds fans out there? Excited for the action-packed finale?
On a side note, what do you think of Mary-Louise's look here? The army green dress and powder blue heels took me by suprise, but I think she looks great.

Nick Lachey And Vanessa Minnillo Not Breaking Up
Did you hear rumors that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were on the verge of breaking up? Well, those rumors can be laid to rest now, the couples rep has denied it. He said that the stories are "not true." Seeing pictures of the two leaving a restaurant, they both looked unhappy and that's what got people talking, but a source says,
"Nick and Vanessa did go to dinner that night but there was no fight. When they got in the car, Vanessa looked annoyed in pictures because she was fixing her eyelash!"
Hearing that makes me wonder how many times I've misinterpreted what's going on in a picture..
And in other couples in Hollywood news, Mary Louise Parker and Jeffrey Dean Morgan will not be getting married. The couple has called off their engagement. The two hope to remain friends and hold each other "in the highest regard."

Mary Louise Parker attended the premiere of The Spiderwick Chronicles in New York yesterday. When I saw the thumbnails, at first I thought she was wearing a dress made out of tinfoil! But then I saw bigger pictures and realized the dress was not as bad as I originally thought.
